I wanna say we should've won this game, but then I look that we got out rebounded 43-28. And out assisted 22-11.
But those free throws absolutely killed us and was probably the difference maker.

I expect this season series to finish 2-1 or 2-2 by years end (unsure how many times we match up), but hopefully we finish 2-1 or 3-1 :p

Don't see how the Raptors could have won tbh. Heat were leading pretty much the entire game. And coulda shoulda woulda with the free throws. If the Heat hit theirs in the 4th it isn't a close game. No moral victories for you :wavefinger: Raptors got bent over a barrel and got ****ed. Thank you come again.

Granted heat missed FT's but if you made your ten missed and we made our 15 missed its a tie ball game.

And trust me I don't view this as a Moral Victory, we shot ourselves in the foot by terrible FT shooting, and little things such as missing wide open layups (Chuck, JV) and no Amir really hurt us. With Amir playing instead of 24 mins by Hansbro and 12 by Chuckwagon it makes a world of difference.

Not knocking on the Heat either because you guys deserved this win and we didnt, but we are a much better team then we showed tonight. It's amazing we were not blown out by 25 points

Hope both teams are healthy next time and we can end this 16 game slaughtering
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Damn. Raptors are an awful team to watch. No ball movement. All iso in half court. Not sure anyone on that squad knows how to pass.

About 9-10 months ago, i participated in a thread on this board about Chris Bosh, and how much he was worth to the Heat.

I argued he was worth a big deal, even a max contract.

I think it's been evident, even this early on, how good this guy is. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but i am just a massive Bosh fan, even during the peak Big 3 days when i was meant to hate him. I couldn't.

I am sure he will still remain underrated around the NBA landscape, with Anthony Davis and Blake Griffin being the new hits at the PF spot, with Bosh still playing C as well, but this man remains one of the best big men in the league, and it still pisses me off that we couldn't land him over Boozer, even if it was never really likely.

Great player, and he looks like he is embracing the expanded role. 23 & 10 is very doable from him this season.

With James gone, more of a role for Bosh and Deng now a Heat player, i can watch you guys with less pain involved :).

I have you guys as being a serious threat out East, my 3rd seed at this point. Top 10 offense and defense right now.

I also hope it's a year whereby people start giving Spo some more credit. Before the big 3, the man was a very good defensive coach and folks forget the good work he did in seasons prior.

If the Heat win 50-54 games, which is where i have you guys, that is an extremely good coaching effort from him, especially with all the new faces on the roster.

I was being a little bitch about officiating and Raptors commentators, but truth be told, I really like that team. They didn't play their best this game, but we didn't either.
On more important note - I almost forgot how fun it is to watch real team oriented basketball and not knowing what to expect each game. Who will go off? Bosh? Wade? Deng? One of the rookies? Bench? It's great. I am genuinely happy that James left.

That is exactly what I've been taking away from these past three games the Heat have played. They are playing some amazing team basketball out there. The ball movement and passes have been a thing of beauty and everyone who played last night scored with 5 Heat players in double figures. I guess this is the result when you get completely dismantled by the Spurs.

If there is one thing I want Spo to do though is rip players a new one when they continue to make silly mistakes. Chalmers for a while there was playing some selfish basketball which allowed the Raptors to slowly come back in the game. Spo should have immediately called Rio out for his play and subbed him for Wade. But I'm sure Spo will go over this with Chalmers and he will learn from his mistakes.

Other than that, I'm liking what I see from this team. Still got a long season to go so I hope the Heat can maintain this level of play.

On to the Houston Rockets.

I love the way we are playing. Are ball movement is nice and fluid. It doesn't stop till we see an open man

If we stay healthy, which is a big question mark, and with Hamilton/Ennis/Napier growth as the season goes on, we're going to the 5th straight Finals, book it. The only team in the East that rivals our depth is the Bulls but we have the experience to beat them.
