Both teams played less than par last night, look for this to be a high scoring game.

PS- If you disagree with my stats, let me know and I will be more than willing to change them.

Al with 8 speed? You're too kind.

Kemba's clutch should be a 9.

Eek! I didn't notice that. I'll edit that right out

I'd put anything related to Kemba shooting the ball at a negative 54.

This is gonna be another loss. This is pretty much the same exact Heat team that's been dogging us for the last four years. The only players they lost this season were an old Ray Allen and some french dude named LeBrune.

Spo remember us from the playoffs. We run the same sh*t. I'm prepared for a loss unless somebody catch on fire to have a near career night.

This could get our season going if we win.

It's looking bleak though.

We will be fine, but we could use this win in the worst way.

An eastern conference scout was quoted on sheridanhoops as saying that our starting lineup cannot shoot, at all, none, and that teams are and will continue to pack the paint and disrupt driving lanes, etc.

I think our starting lineup could use a shake up if we lose two more.

Beautiful gamethread!

Having MKG back would make a huge difference in this one. Any news on his availability?

I agree, if we keep losing we're going to have to make some changes. I highly doubt Clifford would consider starting Hairston, but Roberts? I could see it. Especially if he thought it might light a fire under Kemba. Other than Hairston he's probably our best shooter. With the way both Kemba and Lance are playing they both deserve more playing time.

Any time Marvin Williams is the most consistent shooter on the floor, you're going to have problems. Don't need a scout to tell me that. Kemba and Lance being in major shooting slumps definitely doesn't help. I'm wishing we'd just brought back Tolliver and started him. We'd probably be better off.

It's been a while but this feels like one of those times where I just will have to buy some alcohol before I come home tonight and watch the game.

Our fan base mind state has gone down the hill quickly.

Did we mislead Lance? Was he told he was going to be the "guy" here? Kemba seems to dominate the ball in the clutch. We are not a playoff team with Kemba dominating the ball in the last 3 minutes of a game IMO.

No one here is in a position to know what Lance was told, but Lance himself has said in interviews that he will get to the ball to where ever it needs to go in order for the team to succeed, so I don't think jealousy is going to be an issue.

I'm actually pretty excited that we get to turn around and have a back to back game after last night. Hopefully we perform better at home and the psyche of this board can start to heal.

Well for some optimism, Kemba usually plays better at home and Big Al usually destroys Chis Bosh. Also Luol Deng might not play this game and they have no depth on the wings.

Oh yeah, in addition to McBob, look out for Justin Hamilton. Remember when he was on our team for a minute? Dude knocked down three treys last night with 7 boards, two assists, a block and a steal.

Looking at the schedule, I'm going to go out on a pessimistic limb, and say that the Hornets will be 1-10 (lose their next 8 games, including a loss to the Lakers) before their next win, and that will be against the Pacers on November 19th

Shame on me for saying such things :nonono:
