T ross will show up, he'll be guarding Wall a lot most likely and I'm hoping he can get his shot going.. we really need our bigs and a team effort, I love our team right now.

Both improved teams in somewhat the same tier as far as contenders go, so i'm excited.

I think we'll win a high scoring close game, assuming our bigs are back of course.

We got the best of 'em during the season series. However, one thing is different, Pierce is a notorious Raptors killer.

Nov 22: Washington loses 96-88

Jan 3: Washington loses 101-88

Feb 18: Was loses 103-93

Feb 27: Was wins 134-129

I do agree with you in terms of Pierce doing well against us for the majority of his career, but in terms of the playoffs, here is what people don't remember. Joe Johnson was the real killer, he was able to handle the small guards who were on him, abusing them and taking them into the post, collapsing our defense which allowed for great ball movement and Amir running out to guard Pierce who would pump fake or hit an open shot. If you look at all the times Pierce was guarded one on one he wasn't as successful. I can confidently say that if our team is healthy, this won't be happening again.

But he won't because he's casey.

I'd like to see that as well, give Lowry the chance to go at them on the offensive side and not tire him out on defense as much.

Our 2 best perimeter defenders are Ross/JJ and Fields who isn't playing, Lowry is pretty good as well but Wall isn't a good match up for him in terms of Wall's athleticism and ability to penetrate.

James Johnson is also a nice stopper for us.

If there was anytime we needed our Bigs, it's this game.

Washington is a team not to be taken lightly but Beal is out and Miller hasn't looked good and Webster is coming off surgery with Hump playing with a injured hand.

Ross needs to show up defensively to guard Wall and hopefully contribute with some 3s.. Hopefully both JV and Amir are back or at least Jonas. The have good C & PF in Gortat and Nene who can give us trouble but expect Jonas to neutralize Gortat if not surpass him.

See Washington as a legitimate top 4 team in the East.

Their wing rotation looks thin without Beal or Webster. We need JV and Amir to match up with their frontcourt

Bad news guys.. going to this game and I'm like 3-10 all time. Highly unlikely we win this, given my record.

Cheer for the Wizards and make it 3-11 for the team you wanted to win?

If I'm not mistaken our record has been really good against the Wizard the last few years. It's one of those teams we match up well against as unlike Charlotte.

Wiz fan here. This should be a great game. I probably look forward to playing you guys more than any team because I kinda see you as our counterparts and you have a great fanbase. I see you guys talking about injuries or not looking as great but weve been a lil shakey also, especially over the last couple of games. New parts and injuries have taken some adjusting to and sometimes we look better than others.

The good for us right now is usually atleast one of PP or OP will have it going, Temple has been 10x better than his whole career, and even though we arent playing great teams, we are still winning games that we probably wouldve lost in the past. The bad is that unlike teams like the Bulls, we clearly arent in playoff mode. Right now we only hustle and play lock down D in spots. The rest of the time we have been lazy or free styling

Im hoping thats because we arent totally up for the opponent which I know wont be the case against you guys, especially in Toronto. Statement game for both teams
