Ian McCall posted this on the UG a few days back in a thread titled "Demetrius..."

You remember this don't you? When i layed you out on the mat all nice and sensual.... After i fly 25 hours to Brazil and bend Linekar over my knee and give him the spanking he deserves I want my rematch.

I was robbed of that 4th round and it derailed me for a little bit but im back on track, I hope you read this and watch my next fight closely because this triology is happening weather you like it or not

I had forgotten what an ass kicking that was. Honestly looking at that gif I've seen fights stopped for less.

You've got to fight back!

Anyways, that is the main thing that would stop me from putting him in the top 3 P4P.

I'm a big UC fan, he should have gotten the 4th round, and all the trash talk he's doing is cool, but...

He got his rematch and he came up short.

You didn't see a thread because barely a f**k is being given about either of UFC's 2 cards this weekend. So maybe their response instead should be to combine the best fights of 2 cards for 1 so more f**ks would be given among MMA fans. They can't hide behind the excuse anymore that they're making a big profit off this approach that we don't see in ratings and ppv buy #'s when their credit rating got lowered this year. They're either being stubborn, or are still in experimental mode.

I do care about the Rockhold-Bisping fight because Rockhold is solid and fairly entertaining, and I always like to see Bisping beaten up (which I figure will happen - inferior kicks, power, and ground game), but enough to go out of my way to watch a card mostly for, let alone pay for? I don't think so. So it's a shame to be wasted in events like those. Fight Pass and TUF international (and in general) are really handcuffing UFC/MMA right now. I used to be interested in every event, even early in their FX/FS1 run. In fact I loved that point the most because we got regular and quality MMA. I can far from say the same anymore now that that they've dialed up the regularity. And tbh, while I can get into a fight here and there involving women and flyweights, overall I don't think they are positives for UFC/MMA either. They dilute the entertainment too. It's the desire to keep expanding for grand power motivations that's the problem in general.

Agreed. Combine the two cards this weekend and they would still be kinda ****.

And I feel like I've said that about every one of these double header weekends.

I will download and watch McCall/Lineker and Bisping/Rockhold.

FFS, McCall/Lineker isn't even on this card. I could have avoided the Brazil card altogether.

LOL. I only have two hopes for this weekend: 1) Bisping gets his butt kicked and 2) Lineker makes weight.

Could not care less about any of the rest of it, although I guess Lineker missing weight would kind of be the lulz. But still.

Did you guys hear how Weidman/Rockhold/Bisping were all basically teaming up and calling Belfort a roided freak at some presser. Awesome.

Picking on someone who has a serious medical condition, in this case low testosterone, isn't cool.

Maybe he's being training with Belfort.

The Bisping/Rockhold fight or the main fights?

The main fights are on right now, we are already 2nd fight in, Hester vs Whittaker is on right now.

Sorry, I'll tune in. I kind of just want to watch the main but I'll just watch the co-main too.

Ya, Round 2 now, there is/are only 4 fights on the main card so. Shouldn't be to terrible to put up with. :)

Guard play in mma is just so weird. Whitaker LITERALLY just tosses Hester's feet aside and passes like nothing. I wonder if a guy like that just straight up DOESN'T TRAIN from the bottom. I want to say Parsons implied something like that, and I think Schaub has mentioned it as well, some dudes just won't train certain positions. Its kind of a questionable philosophy imo, hell I've heard coaches say you should train positions you don't WANT to be in as much as positions you do (the implication being the positions you want to be in are your strengths).

I'm not saying a guy like him should be playing guard btw. But probably should have more guard retention than a white belt.
