I have been waiting on a big game from Ross, but if he can check Wall like he did last year, he will save his starting job.

Gortat averaged 18.5 and 10 at the ACC last year. JV will have his work cut out, especially with his hand injury. I might cut his minutes back and possibly look at Steimsma to take on Gortat.

Looking at Washington's guards and wings how is it possible Garrett Temple and Otto Porter are +40% on threes. That is just crazy. Hopefully we can reverse trends of our poor outside shooting and Washington comes back to earth.
Both teams like to foul, so I think it will be a foul fest.

you guys keep saying Ross checked Wall but the last game we played was the one Wall had 31pts. I dont think Wall feels Ross can stay with him

Ross got injured during that game, the 2 games where Ross defended Wall for the majority of the game Wall had 11 pts on 26.7% with 2 turnovers and 22 pts on 46.7% with 5 turnovers.
