Hawks 1-2@ Hornets 2-3

Post#1 » by SBM » Fri Nov 7, 2014 11:05 pm

Hawks look for first road win against the Hornets who are 2-1 at home.

MKG is back for the Hornets to form a wing pairing that could be really good on defense, including cleaning the glass.

It is a small sample but the pair of Stephenson and MKG is currently combining to out-rebound Horford and Sap.

Al Jefferson can be a handful both on the glass and in the post.

Kemba Walker is a solid player and sites such as ESPN had him rated slightly above Teague in the pre-season rankings.

There bench and perimeter defense should be much improved.

The Hawks must play as a team.

Go Hawks. Win against a playoff team needed as we have started 0-2 against probable playoff teams.

Hawks up early. CHA looks disjointed and their coach calls a timeout.

Neat stat from the Hornets' broadcast team.

Hawks are currently avg 30 ppg in the 4th quarter through the first three game. THAT's a nice stat.

Who fouled PJ on that 3? The air? What is with refs and the Hawks?

19-15 Hawks still up 4 but losing momentum. Al Jefferson has 2 fouls though.

Hornets broadcast team says Carroll slipped his foot beneath PJ.

Worth noting, Hawks outrebounded CHA 10-8 in the first quarter without allowing any offensive boards!!!

ATL DID allow 12 points in the paint however. Gotta tighten up that interior 'D'.

Since the start of the 2nd quarter, CHA has outrebounded us 17-6.

We need a center.
