Anyone getting annoyed with all the And1's?

I appreciate the dedication but its a little too much.

The and1 system is basically a fail and theres no value anymore.

I think a rep system would be better or just a limit on daily and1's that can be given out.

Yes.

I'll see a notification, and think there is something meaningful to respond to, but it's just an 'and 1' from a game thread 3 days ago, where someone is just spamming and 1's.

Does anybody really care about them? I've never looked at someone's and 1 count, and thought, "oh this guy must know what he's talking about".

I like the And1 system but a few posters have made them fairly meaningless.

I blame All-Star Weekend 2014.

One thing that might fix the And1 system is when you And1 someone's post, you lose one And1 from your own count. People would initially be given 10 And1's once they sign up on this site. This way it might not get spammed so much and would actually have value.

I And1 everything in the GTs and PGs whenever we win. It's just my way of sharing my happiness with the board lol. I'll stop if people are getting annoyed though.

I guess if it makes people happy to and1 a bunch of people, let 'em have it. I basically and1 people to say, I wish I'd said that. I don't read anything into mass and1s.

ever since the system was added, threads are annoying to read.. not just on the raptors board but everywhere.

the first 10 responses are people trying to be funny to get and1's, and then the discussion starts on 2-3 pages later.
