Anyone getting annoyed with all the And1's?

If there was no overall and1 score under posts than the "game" would have no meaning.

I like giving and1s when I agree with the post. I dont give and1s to the poster just that particular post anyways.

I'm not going to name names but yes there several posters that will And 1 pretty much everything posted on the Raptors board.

If you post in the game threads you will get And 1 on every post :lol:

I think it should just be limited to maybe 24 daily And 1's.

Or Have it deducted from their And 1 count.

I like the notification system that is in place, before you would never know if someone quoted your post.
Getting a notification that you've received an And1 is getting unnecessary since they're thrown out everywhere.

Maybe a system where the And1's and quotes are separate notifications would be better. Not a big deal though.

As a long time reader and a new poster, the problem isn't with individual posters, the +1 system is simply broken. I can tell you on the Raptors board at least, they are clearly +1 baity posts which have no purpose and add little to the overall discussion. These posters clearly made these posts simply to try to get +1's. It leads to posters focusing on snappy one liners and "burns" than a substantive discussion.

I still think this has some value in terms of individual posts.
When you have a thread with 100 pages long, you may want to read some of the insight posts, and those AND 1 maybe useful for those purpose.

I think And 1's should stay but without notifications. I think only reply to comments should give you the notification.

It is what it is. Some people will And1 a lot and some a little. Besides just disabling And1s, there isn't really a solution.

And1s are much more a problem on the GB than on team boards.

I was against this idea when it came up in the first place. I didn't want to see the quality of conversations being degraded into some kind of shallow popularity contest. But now that I'm all popular and $hit, I can honestly say looking back that I didn't know what the hell I was talking about.
