It's insane that the Suns can rest Dragic and Bledsoe the entire 4th quarter against an elite defensive team and score 36+ points. The West is so much fun.

Weak stuff from Sacramento.

Bobcats not looking too great either. They need to trade for shooting.

Wow Cody Zeller's bbiq is really low. What a terrible pick by the Hornets.

What's the deal with Lance. Does the dude only go hard vs Wade and LeBron?

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.

lol Faried dropped,

OT: who do you guys think is the best fighter/strongest, you don't wanna mess with in the NBA? I'd go with James Johnson being a homer Raptor fan, the guy is a 2nd degree black belt, was undefeated when fighting and beat a 31 year old when he was 18 years old.

While the IQ is high, it's just really 'meh' in terms of his overall ability. There is nothing astounding - his key tools are body control, finishing ability with his right, a decent shooter when hot, a good pick and roll player with above average vision and court awareness, and the ability to draw contact at a high rate. I see a highly capable back-up PG. I'm not trying to down-play that performance, it just seems like Charlotte wasn't reading the scouting report. I did a thorough report here a couple of days ago on the Lakers squad and I highlighted all of Jeremy Lin's strengths. Look how often he drives right for finishes in those highlights, it's almost exclusive, they're giving him the lane. The one time he scored going left is when he stepped back for a jumper (other than finishing with his left on the break on the reverse layup going right baseline). I really want to see more teams force him off his strong side and see if he remains effective. He had about 4-5 open layups in that video or ones that resulted in straight up contact with the big because Kemba or other defenders did an absolute horrid job reading the report on him.

I think I'll have this debate with Undefeated all season long, but I really think his shot release isn't fast at all in terms of NBA standards. Look at Kobe in his one jumpshot miss in that video, he starts high up straight at the chest area and releases quick, where as Lin gathers both hands on the ball down by his groin area and then brings it upwards in a full motion. Most defenders will close out on him pretty quick by the time he gets that off, and that's why he's had trouble nailing his jumpshots this year with regularity (with this game being an exception due to Charlotte's poor readings defensively).

Lin is a decent player. But the Lakers are a crap defensive team, and that includes him.

Anyone else wonder why the NBA still has a mandatory inactive, if a team has 14 or 15 player?

It doesn't make sense. It should be used for injuries, or when a player is away from the team. All our guys are healthy.
