Right now Detroit is rather pathetic and Drummond is playing like player teams worried about at the draft and why he slipped.

Drummond is being exposed once Van Gundy's system made him the focal point. He isint that good other than being a garbage bucket guy. His main red flag coming into the draft, was supposedly he has terrible work ethic and is lazy. Looks like he hasent learned anything this summer, not that he already had many tools to work with.

I hope it isn't the case because of my fantasy team, but Andre Drummond sure looks like he has made zero improvements since last season.

Posted before I saw this post, and agree 100% with you. Insane athleticism from a 7 footer is super exciting, but at some point you need to develop a game further away than 3 feet from the rim.

JV has his share of his flaws, but I always feel like he's willing to put in the work and bust his ass to get better. And while the improvements are often subtle, they're definitely there.

Totally agree other than scoring from 3ft and in and good rebounder not much else.
