So... I'm at the bar. Of course every TV is MNF pre-game w/ 1 TV showing ESPNews (or whatever). Finally, I get a highlight of the Hawks game... And the package is literally 'Melo hitting 3 shots. I'm thinking we're getting destroyed BUT the score shows we're up by 1 and 'Melon has 8 points. I know it's the way of things but still... Smdh.

So Millsap can't post at all against melo. Kind of surprising

I see that millsap is the new whipping boy around these parts. He was easily our most consistent player tonight while having by far the toughest assignment on defense.

He had a couple of ugly plays but name a player who didn't. I could see bashing him for his play in some of the previous games; however, he was solid tonight.

So...... Shroeder looking really good. Amazing, I saw him in preseason and he looked same as last year, but seems to be much more confident now.

His passing may be better than teague at least in this game. The way he leads the bigs on PnR .....

Millsap couldn't post on Carmelo ..... A terrible defender.

He also missed some really point blank shots. Played hard though he always does. Maybe guarding melo tired him out?

Would really love see how a Teague and Schroeder backcourt would look

Did Teague get injured or something? Schroeder has more minutes, just looking at the box score.

He also finally found his shot and made all of his FTs and knocked down two 3's.

And melo is far from a terrible defender. He's a very solid defender on the block. His problem is he tends to ballwatch and lose his man when he is defending off-ball

Ugly game for both teams, but a win is a win.

The two bright spots are Millsap finally getting his 3pt shooting going, lets hope this takes him out of his shooting slump, and free throw shooting.

Schroder looks great. This will be huge for us if we can have two solid PGs with a reliable 3rd stringer.

I love how carroll's improvement on the 3 ball has allowed him and thabo to play together for stretches. Those two plus dennis makes for a devastating defensive trio.

Now if thabo can find his rhythm and start hitting his outside shots. His passing and field goals in the paint have looked good.
