Lakers have 1.5 mil exception for Randle, 4.8 mil exception for Nash, expiring contract of Hill 9 mil (player option) expiring contract of Lin 8.4 mil.

If a superstar wants to force his way to LA, Lakers have 23.7 mil and that Rockets 1st pick. Hope Mitch is looking for the Gasol deal part 2.

The DPE for Nash is on the table (half his salary). Mitch is just looking to dump Nash's entire salary so he can work a deal while keeping Hill or Lin. Mitch will file the forms if the right scenario presents itself. This means Lakers cannot trade Randle BTW.

I wouldn't even want to trade randle. at 19, you can tell he will be a stud in this league, unless, of course, the right opportunity presents itself

this.

if we take nash's DPE we wont be able to trade him right? maybe mitch is saving his expiring for something else... in any case i think Hill goes with him... and maybe a filler or two... and a pick from who knows where.

From what I understand, we can still trade Nash even if we get his DPE (the DPE then goes away if he gets traded) -- we have access to both options simultaneously but can only take one route. We've already applied for Nash's DPE, the league is still looking into Nash's medical records and deciding whether or not to grant it to us.

Nash swinging a golf club that way. I would say a DPE will not be granted. Thanks steve. Your screwing the lakers again.

Wonder if this means we're using the exception on this guy?

Nash and cash for Kendrick Perkins might be the best deal we could swing.

Dont think he means a "Gasol" per-say.

Another super star acquisition "like" Pau back in '08.

they didn't use Sash or Walton TPE, don't see them using this exemption either.
