Kevin White. 6'4" fast reminds me of A.J. Green.
Jaelen Strong. 6'4" great hands reminds me of a Larry Fitzgerald
DeVante Parker 6'4" reminds me of Crabtree with a few extra inches
Devin Funchess 6'5" reminds me of Alshon Jeffery with a few extra inches
Dorial Green-Beckham 6'6" Reminds me of Michael Irving

These all could go in first or early second round. I hope the 9ers get one.

The trade deadline is passed. Niners can't trade Crabtree. He's a FA in March.

I'm not happy with Crabtree. Admittedly, I've been saying all season that considering how often he is targeted, his number of quality targets is very low. Seems like half the balls he sees every game aren't catchable. That said, he's been dropping a lot of balls that are catchable, including on that critical 3rd and 10 yesterday - and yes, I realize he made a great play on 4th down; it doesn't excuse the miscue on the prior play. Crabtree needs to raise his game and make it unfathomable for the coaching staff to pull him. He hasn't done that this year.

I'm in this boat as well.

At this point I'm campaigning for a big trade up in the draft to grab a WR on that AJ Green Dez Bryant level. Having a guy like that would be huge for the offense.

Yea, as long as Roman is no longer here.

In all seriousness I agree with some that if he stays or go's it's no big deal to me.

Was leaning towards wanting to keep him at the start of the year but his inability to stay healthy and his disappearance this year says no now.

We can save the money and still be solid with boldin/johnson/Patton and Ellington. Maybe even resign Lloyd and draft a guy or find a free agent.

See ya crabs.

Exactly. Beefing up the OL and maybe getting a shutdown CB takes priority.

Cooper and Montgomery are short. Both have issues catching the ball as well. Great after they catch the ball but a lot of drops. I am a Stanford and Alabama fan and see both play all the time.
Cooper = Crabtree with a bit more speed
Montgomery has first round speed but fourth round hands. I wouldn't draft him until late second early 3rd at best.

The OL overall has played poorly but I think it's more of an issue of them needing to play better rather than a talent issue.

Shutdown CB is right up there with elite WR in terms of needs and either one imo would bring huge benefits to their respective sides of the ball.

I still lean on getting an elite WR but it's easier to get a shutdown CB since WR are typically valued higher than CBs especially the top tier ones.

I really like your list. My favorite of that group of course is DGB. Funchess to me is a legitimate TE threat, but to me he is not a true dynamic threat from the WR position. Furthermore, D'haquille Williams is a player that I think deserves to be on your list as well. The kid is very talented and shouldn't be overlooked.

I don't care if Cooper is short, if he is available when we select, we better draft him (only if DGB is off the board). It's like saying we should not draft Sammy Watkins because he's only 6'1.

Mr. Cooper will be long, long gone when the Niners pick. This isn't an extremely strong-looking draft class.

It's DGB or bust for me. I think he could start from day 1. People passing on him are going to look like the people who passed on Randy Moss in '98 IMO. Maybe not to that extent though.

We'll see what happens if/when we lose Iupati to free agency. Does Joe Looney replace him? Brandon Thomas? Or someone else?

Marcus Martin or Brandon Thomas will but ideally it will be Martin at C and Thomas at LG.

So I guess that sends Kilgore to the backup.
