Ok 5-2, 7 games in. Has enough time gone by to make changes with Sessions?

ray should definitely get sessions playing time..i would even give ray the back up sg's pt depending on the matchup.. ray plays defense and is a much better shooter than sessions...

I was screaming at my television to get Ray in to the game. I hope tonight is the last we've seen of Sessions.

I've seen enough of Sessions. Plays poor defense and his playing style would fit better on a team with reliable 3 PT shooters. I'd definitely give the bulk of the backup PG minutes to Ray.

He's tough to take right now. A walking negative +/- who is really de-contributing at every facet - defense, turnovers, field goal %, creating.. We've been getting by dealing with it but tonight is the first game where I have had to actively wonder if there was another backup pg in place would the result have been different. On top of that he's in front of a kid who most of Kings fans like.

In reality though, despite how a lot of us fans feel, I think Malone is going to give Sessions at least a few more games to turn this around. Sessions was considered one of the best back up pgs heading into this season and Malone will probably want to demonstrate patience and confidence in his players to the team.

I expect he will get another 5-10 games before being rendered third string

Sessions is just in a funk. Anybody who's seen him play before his stint with us knows that he's usually much better than this.

McCallum is a fan favorite, but an objective view would say that he's still a ways from being a truly effective floor general. I do advocate giving him some minutes at SG however, in certain situations.

Malone gave Thornton 10-15 games before McLemore started last year. I think he is doing the same thing to Sessions. Unless, he bounces back in the next several games, McCallum will move up the depth charts soon enough.

Yes, should have happened seven games ago.

Sessions needs to work his way back into the rotation, but he has not been good at all. I do not care if he is a veteran and Ray's a second year player. You have to play who is helping you now, and Sessions is not helping us.

Never wanted to see anyone take Rays backup spot this year, still don't. Although I will say that Sessions has had glimpses of his potential impact. Still think he doesn't fit and is honestly not needed if Landry can be that much needed scorer off the bench. I think a team built around two iso guys can't handle two iso players off the bench too. Sessions didn't fit when they signed him, and while he still doesn't fit, he could at least be a guy you go to if you're in a pinch. Ray is better defensively and he along with Casspi are still the only guys who really know how move without the ball. So, the answer is give Ray the spot and use Sessions if you have to bench the other scorers because they just aren't getting the job done.

Collison is questionable tonight. So CJ should get more burn beyond Sessions. This could be the game where he earns more minutes if Collison is out.
