Why is often inured Kelly being factored in? He hasn't had a camp, is injured again, didn't shoot well or board well last year, and he isn't known for his D. At best he's a Vlad type, not someone who will outplay boozer who has played well the last two games

Well Boozer isn't known for his defense either. I just want to see how it would be if Kelly is there.

Boozer has shot well from mid range. Kelly doesn't have his shot. Yes he can space it some, but right now Booz isn't the weak link. Our weak link is having no guy on the bench that puts Price, Ellington, Davis all together. That guy is Nick. It's not a rookie in Clark who barely plays or a third string guy in Sacre. It's certainly not often injured Henry and Kelly who have to play their way into shape and were injury prone to begin with, which is how both of them fell how they did and ended up here. We need to rely on someone with the possibility of playing every night if Nash has taught us nothing. Young as the scorer on the bench and designated gunner in an Iverson like role with Ellignton, Price, Davis, and a starter is what we are going to be looking at to win games

Just look at today for example, Kobe took 7 shots where he received the ball with 5 seconds or less on the clock for bailouts. Nick is an outlet there. Where the benched got greatly out scored because boozer and Lin didnt gun back, Nick is an outlet there. Instead of Hill taking 17 shots and being left open because the team has Hill and Davis out there, late in games you spread it with Nick, Kobe, Lin, Wes, and a big when you can tie to create a situation where an ISO is viable

Davis needs more minutes and more shots... his touch is unbelievable around the rim, coach needs to draw up some plays for him...

Showcasing Jordan Hill for a trade?

Trying to figure out why we've been working out centers (when we have 3 already).

Hmm...perhaps we're looking to play Davis at PF more, so bolstering the center position?

Forget abt spacing, Lakers should start Hill and Ed Davis together or at least let them finish the games. Boozer is such a defensive black hole.

I think that's a game Kemba wants to forget. Bledsoe had a great game against him, Jackson had to chuck to get his but not a bad percentage shooting. Rubio had a high TO game. Lin had an average game against him, only Kemba had less than 3.

Not that it really means anything for my prediction, but if Kobe HAD shot 50% from the field they would have 6 more points and a win! 8-)

For all the flak Byron's been getting about his offense, it's pretty amazing that we're a top 10 offense right now after facing the top 3 defensive teams in the league (as well as Charlotte who's 10th and Phoenix who's 14th). Defense should continue to be the primary focus.

This game was decided by the bench, which the Griz's bench crushed Lakers' bench by a mile.

Hill - gotta get better guarding the PnR
Boozer - off the bench, should be able to defend bench players adequately
Johnson - have trouble defending smaller/quicker players
Kobe - conserve energy
Lin - fewer TOs, fight better thru picks

Start Ed Davis and the D would be much better

Right, just look at the +/-.

Thanks for the honesty.
