He's a nice guy version of Gerald Green. I hope he can take his game to another level. As it stands, I'm not convinced.

he is a better jumshooter then lebron and others in their age + he has a very nice step back jumper well see

Its hard to tell what he's good at right now. His shooting this season has been poor, 43% 2FG and 56% FT. He also doesn't contribute a whole lot in the other stats departments, as he has a combined 4.5 rebound + assist per game total. He does look to have keen defensive instincts though. I like that part of his game.

The sad truth is he was unfairly overhyped, with everyone on the edge of their seats waiting for the next MJ/Kobe/Vince/etc. type player to come in an tear it up. He hasn't shown any where close to that level of ability. Gerald Green is a fair comparison. That's not what people want or were expecting though.

Like I've said, he's an intelligent defender, and can also run the floor well, which should translate to some easy buckets. To be fair, he is a rookie who needs seasoning. He is overmatched right now. He will contribute on D, but needs to learn how to be a team player on offense, and be willing to take over with his athleticism when he's able. He's got a ways to go. I'm pulling for him. Same as I am for Exum. I hope they figure it out and become stars. A lot of growth is needed though.

There's always growth needed. What, were people expecting a superstar 10 games into the season?

Unfortunately, some people were. Many of those people are always able to form poor opinions though.

I'd start formulating a strong opinion after about the third season. You kind of know what you have at that point.

Yeah, I generally agree. There are some late bloomers however, and some that go crazy in their sophomore year, but I think that late 3rd/early 4th year is where you can guess pretty good where a certain career is going.

kobe rookie year 7.59 pts 1.28 apg 1.86 reb fg 41.7%

vince rookie year 18.3 pts 3.0apg 5.7 reb fg 45.0

wiggins rookie year 9.2 pts 1.0 apg 3.5 reb fg .43.1

How many minutes did each of them average their rookie year?

Now I'm not too sure if he's on the same plane as Kobe & Vince. Different teams and different era though, so who really knows. Hope he does become as great as them though, Minny is due for a superstar.

It's early but from im seeing so far, I don't see Wiggins becoming a superstar. I mean not a top 3 player in the NBA at any given time. Maybe top 5-10 in his prime. Will be very balanced, very good everywhere but not great at anything. But it also depends how Minny develops him. I don't really trust that organization.

I'd say KG came out ok. Love, too.
