if we have to cut someone, it would probably have to be henry

Now there's a rumor we worked out Ater Mojak. A center. Which according to the WT is unrelated to working out Quincy Miller....

Either we've got a trade we're cooking up, or we're looking to cut two players. Probably just due diligence, but I'd rather at least pick up guys with potential if this is a down season.

I've watched Ater play in the Nbl a few seasons ago his a scrub straight up.

I'd personally love another Australian drafted player in the league though not for the Lakers.

I like Miller, I hate traffic jams and **** centres & if they sign can we piss Rob Sacre another C.. Ahh it pisses me off his on the team straight up biggest scrub out

Sacre is a good 14th or 15th man. Rob is someone who should never be in your normal rotation, but helps in the locker room, during practices and with his on the ball defense in certain situations (ie al Jefferson going 0/3 against Rob the other night). No team is all good players deep. And besides don't you guys want more minutes for ed Davis?

Yeah cause your 13th man really has a huge influence on your standings. Can't wait for the debut of b Scott's 13 man rotation when he settles into a lineup. :nonono:

No, I agree with you Sacre is terrible and shouldn't be in any team's rotation, but he's not the reason we're losing. Our undersized front court that makes up our rotation is a bigger issue. We shouldn't be dumping a big man for a swingman right now, especially with Nick Young's return imminent. We should be looking to add a real rim protector that would crack the rotation; whether it be through trade or whatever.

I like the potential of a Miller and would like him on the roster if we could free up a spot via trade or get some sort of hardship exception like the pacers got (they can have 16 players due to 4 players being out for more than 2 weeks). And I think we're in more dire need of players than the pacers with two players out for the season in Nash and Randle.

Miller is flat out terrible. Then again we should be tanking so sign him and give him minutes.

I don't really agree that Miller is terrible. He has size and can shoot? We aren't searching for a prized FA right now. Might as well bring in someone who has been looked over, and find a gem. I think he might actually break out this year with some mins. I've watched him over the summer and leading up to now. He shows some promise in a season that we really don't have anything promised. I'm cool with the signing and the hopes that we just might find another good piece to the puzzle.

if he turns out to be another Davis or anyone else we would eventually sign I'd sacrifice a lamb to the basketball Gods.

also if we send someone... say clarkson to the dleague, will he still count in the roster? and is there a limit for sending and taking him back to free a spot? why not just do this so we wont need to cut anybody. lol.

Sacre didn't play that bad the last game, had some good passes and a good dunk; he also hit two tough turnaround fadeaway jumpshots the game before. He's the only legit center on the roster and he is quite inexperienced. I think cutting would be a big mistake.

ya well see, im just annoyed a couple games back where he single handedly gave the game away with his TO's with back to back illegal screens. the team went on a run from his TO's in a game we could of won. clarkson can go back to the dleague for all i care...hes not even getting any burn time or put X back in the dleague so he can get his conditioning back.
