We missed some beautifully open shots in some sweet possessions
I think the key to this offense, which should have been obvious from the first game, is having five scoring options on the court at all times.
If we crap out on max worthy players, DEPTH! Backups that could start and not have dropoff from the starting unit.
I loved the ball movement today. Melo proved worth being my favorite player once again.

Only thing with a tank plan is wasting another year is adding more mileage on Melo. Just sit him when we're 2-40

He showed some discomfort with his ankle earlier in the season, might want to sit him out for a while so he can "heal up" and hope it doesn't "bother" him again.

This year is already better than last season just by having our first round pick this year. So yea, at least sucking can be beneficial for the future.

These m'fers don't even set solid off-ball screens, they're basically slipping them sh*ts to get themselves into position every time, instead of making a real attempt to get the their teammate the open look coming off of it.

Perfect example on that final "play". Melo had PERFECT opportunity to pick Fournier off and give J.R. a great open looking coming to the ball. But since he knows the play is designed for him, he didn't even attempt to brush Fournier off, because he was trying to get himself into position vs Aaron Gordon.

These m'fers we rely on are pretty much playing for themselves at this point.

This sh*t is annoying.

Jason Smith signing was a dumb one... they need to reedem themselves with some smart moves!! Anthony Morrow deserved more that MMLE from us than the former. And I'd do a trade for him and Jackson. They would make 10M combined next season and with 33M for Melo, Shump, Acy, Cole and THJ on cap holds, we'd have 24M left for either LMA or Gasol (20M), our draft pick (2M) and the other 4 cap holds (2M)... plus the two expetions (MLE and BAE) and also two TPE from the last trades!

Jason Smith makes Amare look like Bill Russell. WTF was Phil thinking? What were we thinking? As I recall, most of this board really liked that signing.
