Mets Targeting Buehrle And Lidge

Star-Ledger - The Mets have inquired about Mark Buehrle, according to an official with one of the teams, but that's nothing new. They've been after Buehrle for the past two off-seasons and unable to get him.
The official, who requested anonymity because he's not allowed to discuss impending deals publicly, said the White Sox don't believe they can sign Buehrle after this season and would like to get something for him now.
The Mets believe, according to an official with one of the teams, that Brad Lidge would be happy in a setup role for closer Billy Wagner, since Wagner was a mentor to him when Wagner was in Houston.
I think we would be able to land Lidge extremely cheap, and with his electrifying stuff although in a mental coma he could be good to acquire. Wagner can also reteach him again, but I dont mind him.
Buehrle on the other hand I would love to land, as long as it dont cost to much. The White Sox are usually very hard to trade with, they always ask for to much. I remember there absurd demands for Contreas and Garcia, I doubt this one happens.
