Jaleen Rose is also Derrick Rose's illegitimate father.

I don't think this is a dumb thread at all, but pretty interesting!

I'm sure during the 90s tons of NBA players had sex on the road or just with random women throughout their careers, even nowadays it probably still happens.

I'm looking forward to next generations players because i'm sure a lot of players will be sons of current NBA players.

Do any of Jason Caffey's kids play ball? A lot of athletes tend to have girls more than boys, I've noticed.

No that's not a fact at all. It's alleged that Chamberlin was a homosexual and he just made up that claim to deflect attention away from his sexual orientation.

Why him? I remember him on the Warriors.

You can't inherit skills but no one can doubt the fact that some kids are born with a far greater disposition towards coordination and athletic ability.

Gus Johnson.

From Akron, died in '87, incredible athleticism, 6'6 230, and spent his final years in Akron.

take it however you want it, internet.

I thought it was generally accepted that his father was Anthony McClellan. Here's a picture of McClellan when he was younger.

And Kendall Marshall and Vlade Divac look vaguely similar in this photo.

One low quality photo is not even close to validation. I wish I heard the Nate Thurmond rumor earlier because I had a chance to meet Nate Thurmond about two years ago and I just made some small talk with him but couldn't really think of anything to say.

I don't think they're acting.

"illegitimate" is an antiquated term

Speculating about this is kinda silly.

1) One, no they don't, at all. And this has nothing to do with their skin tones.

2) It's already established he was living in/around Akron at the time of Lebron's conception and has been connected with Gloria James. Gloria James he's the father (Though which means nothing biologically, if you are to believe she's not lying about a sexual encounter happening then at the least it makes it a possibility).

3) If you couldn't come up with small talk with Nate Thurmond, then you damn well sure weren't about to ask him if he potentially was the father of Lebron James.

Aside from the fact that LeBron and McClelland look alike, McClelland had unprotected sex with Gloria ~9 months before LeBron was born. He's also intelligent (lawyer). So the physical shoe fits, the mental shoe fits, and he pumped his sperm into LeBron's mom ~9 months before LeBron was born.

So, yeah, there's just a weee bit more to the story than that one pic.
