Gotta give it to someone. Thompson made Lance (who is supposedly a good defender ) look silly.

Lol you wouldn't trade MKG for a SG with strong defense who averages 25 a game and is one of the best three point shooters in the game?

Okey dokey!

I highly doubt he'll keep up that scoring pace. I think MKG will be a better all around player.

Thompson is already a heck of a defender. Not as good as MKG, but hes so much better all around its just not even close. Unless who envision MKG averaging 20 a game with 40% three point shooting and a nice handle. Which will never happen

Klays offense is one dimensional from what ive seen and MKG is a lot better at defense and rebounding. If MKG turns out to be a 15-17 ppg scorer and all defensive team regular id find that more valuable than Klay who basically doesnt do anything other than shoot jump shots extremely well.

**** i thought the gamecast on ESPN said 47-47. I never would've asked how it was going if I saw the actual score.

It doesn't matter.

The Warriors were never trading Klay just as the Jazz were always matching Hayward. The Warriors probably have no intention of trading Barnes either.

All of these players may be great fits but there was never a chance at any of them.

We have a nice young core but this Warriors team is better than our best-case-scenario with this core imo, i mean even if MKG, Vonleh and Hairston pan out with Kemba, Lance and Cody.

I don't know what there is to hold accountable. I guess it could be like some have said, and maybe he just isn't in game shape. But he just doesn't seem capable of playing adequate defense out there. With some people, it seems like an effort thing, but with Jefferson, it just seems like he physically isn't capable of much more right now.

Wow times are changing guys

We need to switch leagues from NBA to 3BA because teams like POR, GSW, and a few others are playing an entirely different game than we are with such an obsessive focus on 3 pointers

Its really not even close in my opinion. Id probably throw in a first rounder to be honest. Thompson is a beast. MKG can play all the lock down defense he wants, but Klay is a solid defender, play maker and amazing shooter. The total package. Something MKG will never be

It's a lot easier to replace what MKG does really well. A lot harder to replace a guy that can score like Thompson. As much as I like MKG, you take Thompson and run.

MKG is easily replaceable. Not that I want him to be replaced as I dont. But hes about as overrated on these boards as Biyombo. Biyombo scores a layup and this board nearly shuts the hell down.

Definitely need to watch Thompson more if you think hes one dimensional. Especially in the first half of this game.

GS color commentator guy just took almost the whole halftime trying to rehearse graphics on two pick and roll plays. he was a step away from going full Winnebago Man at one point.

Im counting on MKGs potential. I dont think i overrate him at all. I dont think hes better than Klay right now.

yeah, i get that jefferson has a very low ceiling as a defender, but he just looks so much worse this year defensively. maybe mcbob just did a better job of covering up for him, something marvin is incapable of doing.

Thankfully the team flipflopped on that. He's been the best thing about the Warriors in the last 20 years bar none. You guys have a lot more life in your game thread than us btw.

Well whenever MKG is 24 and can shoot like Thompson does along with his solid defense and average 20-22 a game Ill believe you. Thompson was better 2 years ago than MKG is right now.
