I think the Vikings have the number one pass defense and their Peterson replacements have done fairly well.

I want one of two things to happen. Either we win out and make the playoffs or we lose out and get a top 3 pick.

...and we draft Marcus Mariota.

This is just sickening

I have a hard time believing that we're getting rid of Cutler this off-season unless its for a proven vet. If we are that bad at the end of the season we'll trade down to around the 8 spot plus other picks to load up the defense.

This is where I'm at too, but you just know the Bears will win about 4 games and end up with a middling pick.

No, they will win out until the play in game and lose because of a ridiculous f*** up by someone

See this is why I and I think the FO are so hesitant to get rid of Cutler. He show elite talent at his best. And he's doing it against a top passing defense. He just needs to be more consistent.

fools gold against a bad team . That pick is exactly why the bears should get rid of this clown . He simply does not understand the concept of leading a football team and winning football games . There were two drives in which we had a chance to go for fgs and jay throws it up on on one and gets picked on the other .

I expect them to keep Jay another year and I expect Trestman,Emery and Jay gone at the end of next season

Trestman with the killer 4th and goal play call.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

So Forte touches the ball one time inside the 10 ? They constantly keep trying to feature Jay and we constantly keep losing .

Well there is a WT that the Bears could trade him in the offseason. Luckily his over all numbers look good, so it could be possible to get something done.

You would hope they would explore it because at this point he is what he is which is not good enough between the ears .

Hes never had to play for his job and because of that this is what you get . Ive never heard of a non all pro who has never had to compete for his job . 17 picks ?

there's no point in making the playoffs. Not that they will. Every win now sucks.

This game played out how I expected it to happen. If you play a 4-3 against Cutler and a lot of man coverage, he will beat you. His arm, mobility, and receivers are too good. And if you play a predictable zone scheme he will just keep feeding it to Marshall or Forte in between soft spots for the win. But as we have seen with Green Bay, New England, etc if you play a hybrid defense against him with diverse coverages, you can confound him all day long. The other obvious thing about Cutler, is that as soon as you go up 10 points on him, the gameplan goes out the window and he will force it downfield with tragic predictability and consequences. So in retrospect, Cutler will kind of continue to own teams like the Vikes and get destroyed by Capers and Green Bay.

I was happy to see a win, this team is winning 6-9 games no matter how high a draft pick we want or root for.

Tucker had a good game against a toothless offense, but has been forever exposed as overmatched against balanced and elite passing games. As easy as Rodgers and Brady make it look, Bridgewater made it look that difficult.
