According to reports, brooks was mad he was in a rotation and pulled himself from the game to cry like a little girl.

Brooks isn't exactly the most stable individual in the NFL.

And that's a really low bar.

why he mad? he didnt lose his starters job... it was all passing downs...

worst thing is, he made Lynch looked better giving him all that time to shine which he did...

Too bad we couldnt have traded him(some rumors out there that we had a deal with the browns but backed out at the end)

Probably will not get anything for him anymore and with this attitude, he is worthless and shouldnt be on the team.

It was obvious he was gone after this season even before yesterday and he probably knows it too since he's acting up like Lynch is currently doing in Seattle.

The future is Aldon and Lynch anyways so the way I see it the more reps Lynch gets the better.

Totally. We will have a two headed monster at OLB for quite a few years. With Brooks in limbo, Lemonier should get more chances now, and who knows, with Aldon occupying multiple blockers, that will free him up more to do some damage. I am not ready to give up on him just yet. It's a shame about Brooks though, he would've been a very nice player to have in the rotation.

I'd agree with that. Don't like that he's sulking, but I can understand his frustration with his improved play in the Saints game. Lynch was a beast yesterday though, so I can also understand the coaches wanting him to get more reps.

Its a rotation.... No one said he's losing his starters role.... He needs to shut it.

Interesting. Well glad it was a team benching and not a self benching.

"That was my stupidity, that was me being a A-hole,” Brooks said before he was benched by defensive line coach Jim Tomsula.
