Knicks just lost to Utah by 2 at home on a buzzer beater, their 7th straight loss.

Does it make me a shallow man to so thoroughly enjoy another team's suffering?

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 2
i dont care what anyone says, both Rondo and Brett Brown are tanking. Brown kicking the ball late when they are up? Thats a sure tech. Rondo always plays awesome for 47min but if the game is on the line these last 2 seasons, you would swear up and down he was tanking for Ainge. Even some C's fans think so. Just some of the strangest things youve ever seen. Shot clock violations & crazy turnovers that only an idiot scrub would make.
BTW, I love watching Reggie Jackson. That dude is so smooth. He reminds me of what Skip to my lou is to the and 1 tour but Reggie can translate it to the NBA. Has crazy handles, is a southpaw, kinda glides with the ball, and is always under control. BTW, it makes me mad seeing guys like Reggie & Jennings lay the ball up so soft and easy for layups while Wall misses them even though he's 10x bigger and more athletic. So weird

Was there any defense played in the Cavs vs Celts game? 122-121

No the Cavs are a terrible defensive team. Keep them under 100 and they're losing, period.
On another topic, Kelly Olynyk, who I was a proponent of drafting a few years back, is producing. It's early, but he's putting up some solid numbers.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 2
I liked Olynyk a lot, too.
If not for Paul Pierce surprisingly choosing the Wizards; I would probably be happier if this team had traded down to draft Olynyk instead of drafting Porter. I assume had they done so, they would have by necessity resigned Ariza. I think Gortat still would be a Wizard and Olynyk would be the same player he is right now.
He is, TGW, putting up solid numbers.

Not really. You may be a wise man for rooting against the Knicks because they have below average talent. Looks like it won't be as fun rooting against Cleveland as much since they seem to be stringing together a lot of wins.

Yup you guys are right Olynyk has been improving. He is 1st in VORP (Value over Replacement Players) according to NBA Reference of 2nd year players. Porter is 4th at 1.4. I was surprised that Ben McLemore was 3rd at 1.5.

Bulls lost to Indy, Heat down by 11 to the Bucks...yet we've had the cake walk schedule. Still gotta show up and play the games.

dlts20 wrote:Bosh is not as good as he's playing. If you check any of my post I said he would go off against us. We have 2 guys who can maybe stop him. Nene who was on suspension and Hump who was in basically his 1st game all year with us, just removed from stitches, and clearly not ready to play. I said he would dominate and he did. Then in the next game they played Philly who is probably the worst D in the league. Everyone thinks he will dominate and be an MVP canidate but he wont.
He came back down to earth last game. He was solid and got to the line but only 5-13 from the field. I think he will be a solid player this year or considered good for most but I think he will be about 20 & 9 on 45% for the season. I also thinks he looks very fragile to me compared to prime Bosh so I have almost D-Wade type doubts with him. I really dont think he can hold up with great effiency over the whole year as the #1 guy.
I think Miami is a team riding high on emotion from being a 4 time finalist and proving themselves without Lebron but that will wear off soon enough and then you will be able to judge the Heat and Bosh
man Im a bad boy but I almost gave Bosh too much credit......lol

We should really run away with this division. Heat are old and Charlotte is the mess I thought they'd be with Lance as their main man. Indy was smart to cut ties with that asshat.

Read somewhere it was only the second time in the past 30 years that both teams shot under 30% from the field.

And we've been without Beal all season. No excuses.

Not so funny when you consider he got the foul call. That infuriates me. Like that whiff elbow Nene was called for on Griffin last year. And they aren't being punished for it. Stop with the pointless fines. These guys are millionaires. Start suspending them from games if you want this bullsh*t to stop.
