Postgame: Eagles at Packers

Another dominant win. If the playoffs started today we would be the 5 seed and travel to Atlanta.

Now a game ahead of both San Francisco and Seattle. Hopefully they beat each other up along with Arizona down the stretch. Have the head to head tiebreaker over Philly and currently hold the tiebreaker over Dallas based on conference win percentage.

Also 3 games clear of New Orleans now.

Over the last 4 home games we have scored 188 points and conceded just 62. Of those 62 points conceded, 38 have been junk time fourth quarter scores with massive leads.

In the first three quarters of our last 4 home games, we have outscored opponents 167 - 24.

In the first half of our last 4 home games, we have outscored opponents 139 - 9.

In the first half of our last 4 home games, we have outscored opponents 66 - 0.

In those four games, Rodgers is 71 of 102 for 1,067 yards, 15 TDs and 0 interceptions. Sound impressive? Consider this

He was pulled in every game, with 18 mins (MIN), 15 mins (CAR), 25 mins (CHI) and 12 mins (PHI) remaining... meaning those stats have come in less than 3 full games of playing time.

That is frankly, insane.

Huge W. Wild Card positioning is there. We also have a shot to win the division and maybe even get the #2 seed.

That's premature but this has been a great run since 1-2.

The Vikings next week won't be as easy as the first time but hopefully we take care of business. No let downs, please.

For everyone that played up the "We havent beat anybody good" argument as an excuse not to get behind this team all I got to say is.... Suck it!!!

Lookin like the best team in the NFL right now. Lets continue to build on it. Mathews in the middle is making all the difference in the world right now on D.

Lets take a moment to step back and truly appreciate how dominate the Packers have been the last two weeks and at home all year round....... Damn.... Just Damn they've been good

Lions always choke late in the season. Same thing every season.

Lions and Stafford have some nice come back games and steal a few in the first half of the season. Struggle to win in second half.

Lions are not winning the division like every year.

Not even worried about the Lions.

Nobody in the NFL is playing better than Packers right now. Wish playoffs started next week.

But yes, another nice looking win. The Packers schedule is pretty easy coming down the stretch. Homefield is clearly important; maybe they get lucky and secure it.

Good god. I thought you had misspoken until I checked the standings. I can't believe Atlanta is leading that division.

While Arizona has a good defense going there for a potential championship game wouldn't be the worst. I want at least the #2 seed though.

Great win,love how the defense is starting to play physical,hopefully they can keep it up and continue to improve.

Detroit is in a weird spot to me,I want the Packers to win the division obviously but I also want Detroit to win enough to get one of the wild cards and keep San Fran or Seattle out.

San Fran and Seattle and are still the two teams that scare me the most in the NFC.

I get a green and gold boner when I think about the possibility of the Packers winning the division and the 49ers and Seahawks both missing the playoffs

The Packers winning the division and getting the #2 seed (Arizona #1) with the Cowboys/Eagles and Lions getting the wild cards and the Falcons winning the south would be match up heaven for the Packers.

Yeah based on that it's unlikely both make the playoffs.

Looking at the remaining schedule,odds are if one gets in it will be the 49ers,Seattle has a really tough schedule the rest of the way.

Of the Seahawks 6 remaining games they have San Fran twice as mentioned but they also have Arizona twice and they have to play the Eagles in Philly,then St Louis in Seattle week 17.

If I had to pick the lesser of two evils I'd rather see the 49ers get in,their defense is banged up and hopefully I don't jinx it but I just don't see Kaep running all over this current Packers defense the way he has the past 2 seasons.With Clay in the middle and having guys like Peppers and Dix now,Kaep would be forced to beat us more with his arm than he has in the past.

Winning the division and getting at least the #2 seed to get some homefield is huge,more so than it has been the past couple seasons IMO.Not just for the simple fact the Packers have been playing so well at Lambeau but because the teams that could end up in the playoffs like Seattle and New Orleans are teams that are totally different on the road than they are at home.The past few seasons teams like the Giants and the 49ers when they were at the top of their game were teams that could win the road.

I haven't been able to watch a lot of their games this year, but the one where they beat the Packers was kind of scary. It's the formula that has haunted this packers team come playoff time a la the giants and 9ers.

Get pressure from rushing 4 and have 7 in coverage. There aren't many wide open guys when there's 6 or 7 defenders in coverage. That's when the running game gets important and again if those front 4 can stuff the run it makes it difficult.

My hope is the second time around the Packers will be able to handle it better with better run blocking, better protection, better TE play, some Lacy checkdowns, and quick slants.

I'm not sure why everyone is expecting a Lions collapse, they have a new coach and a new attitude. I'm sure hoping they do collapse, but that team with the benefit of drafting in the top 5 for a decade or two has accumulated some talent.

Regardless, I'm more hoping the Packers come up with a better game plan vs the physical defensive teams with a good front four.
