Bulls fan here:

D Glass for Kobe? Would you do it?

I'd do a Kobe for Rose trade in a heartbeat... just give mamba a shot at the title! As we're in win now mode and we probably won't max Rose when he hits free agency, I think it would be worth a try.

Let's involve a third time willing to give up a couple of picks for Rose and we have a deal.

It'll never happen... But:
Rose and a first for Kobe... Or Rose/Gibson for Kobe/Nash...

We'd probably try to get you to sweeten the pot a little though.

Rose to NY
Kobe to Chi
Chi 1st, NY 1st unprotected, Amare to LA

Ny goes all in with Melo/Rose duo for the future

Chi, don't know why you guys want Kobe but I think its a good idea as far as "win now" scenario as you can't seem to rely on Rose staying healthy and we make it look like we giving Kobe a fair shot at winning

LA we get 2 1st to build for future.

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

Hill/ Sacre for Monroe/ Anthony.

I see Hill as the only player we can possibly flip.

Can we just waive Wesley Johnsn?

Jordan Hamilton? J-Rich? Bogans?
Honestly I'd try B-easy right now.

We have no production from the SF position unless 24 slots in and that's debatable.

Any nuggets fans fill us in on Vesley?

This team is unbearable right now I thought this system would be better then last years.

We have no transition defence & we are getting burnt every 2/3 possession on it.

Why can't we gamble on an avarage player pay him ? Ie Monroe, Turner?

End rant.

we need to flip our useless baggage into players that can actually... well... play... as much as i like both players i think its time to let x and kelly go... even wes... nash's expiring too... via trade or whatnot. for who? well whoever would take them lol.

I dunno why we would do that when we can just straight up sign Monroe this summer. Also if we commit to Monroe now, what happens if we end up drafting Towns or Okafor?

I do think you have the right idea though -- try to flip Hill for a potential RFA who doesn't like their current situation. Only name I can think of is Reggie Jackson though and I don't think that can happen.

I'm hoping we can make a few trades to get 1 or even 2 more 1st rd picks, even if they're late using Nash contract and Hill.

I would go after Faried or any of the pieces that Denver doesn't want.

I wouldn't give up Kelly for him and Randle's DPE is not big enough to fit his contract ($3.3 mil). If we were to do it, it'd have to involve Nash's contract.

Nash's is 9 million and we will want that for the offseason. I'm guessing Wes 980,000 and the 1.5 exception is not enough right?

Don't know if we can trade Wes either with his contract being a single season.

He can be traded but he has the option of blocking the trade because of the one year deal he signed and us having early bird rights on him at the end of the season. Same situation with Xavier Henry.

100. When can't a player be traded? Can players be given "no-trade" clauses in their contracts?

"When the player is playing under a one-year contract (excluding any option year) and will have Larry Bird or Early Bird rights at the end of the season. This includes first round draft picks following their fourth (option) season, who accept their team's qualifying offer for their fifth season. When the player consents to such a trade, his Larry Bird/Early Bird rights are not traded with him, and instead becomes a Non-Bird free agent."

I guess I'm wrong:

Here's a great article on players with no-trade clauses this season:

In short, Boozer & Hill on our team.

Boys i agree with the Reggie Jackson pursuit over Greg Monroe/Dragic in FA. I also really want Ed Davis back on the cheap but i doubt we can retain him for less than MLE type money.

1) Draft 1 of the following: Okafor, Mudiay
2) Sign Reggie Jackson 4yrs/48mill
3) Decline Jordan's TO
4) Sign Ed Davis 4yrs/16mill

Have another year like this one resulting in a top 3 pick. Let KB24 ride off as a Legend....then we should be ready to make some noise.

2017 should be our target to start having realistic expectations at a championship
