You absolutely did. You are the one who brought Beal up when i pointed out that the Bulls/Heat were missing Rose/Wade, as if they were somehow comparable. They aren't.

What do you think our record would be if we were missing Wall instead of Beal?

Even trending down Wade's numbers are far better than Beals. And from Jan of his rookie year through the end of last season i didn't see much of an uptrend.

His performance in the playoffs is the only real sign of progress.

Yes I brought up Beal being out i.e missing one of our keys players. What part of this don't you understand? I'm done, you obviously have an axe to grind.

No axe, just playing the role of Captain Obvious. Beal being out is not comparable to a franchise player being out.

The Cleveland broadcasting team is horrible. They make Buck and Phil sound like announcing savants. They're Chicago Bulls kind of bad....yeah, that bad.

All the more satisfying when they are getting stomped.

Those guys have been awful for years. The biggest bunch of homers in the league and clueless on top.

You could grab a couple of old-timers from a Cleveland barber shop and there would be no discernible difference.

The Nuggets lose to the Knicks then beat the Cavs the following night?

They possess all the traits of the homer-greats.

-every made shot from the Cavs is the most amazing, spectacular feat of basketball prowess seen by man
-every missed shot was "just off" or "rims out"
-every close call going the opposite way is a "tragedy"
-every close call going the Cavs way is "obvious"
-color commentator has no apparent control over the volume of his voice
-PBP man has the arrogance of someone who "deserves" the greatest team in NBA history

Buck and Phil may, at times, lack enthusiasm but hot damn am I thankful for them and mindful that things can indeed get much worse.

Man, I had two top targets and both were reasonable.

Markieff and Vucevic :nonono:

Oh well, they are still fun to watch

Too funny. I was thinking the same thing watching the game. At least Phil and Buck try to offer some analysis. The Cav announcers just sound like too fanboys pretending to be on TV.

Rajon Rondo is shooting 30% from the free throw line this season (6/20). Good. Lord.

BTW, I'm not impressed with the Cavs at all. Their D does not look good as predicted and their offense seems to be guys just taking turns going 1 against 5. They certainly have time to get their act together but I really don't see them as contenders this year.

Capped out, unless they trade Waiters I fail to see them acquiring that big man that they desperately need.

The Rockets are fools gold. They've played a cake schedule (like us) and have capitalized on it (kudos for that). There brand of basketball won't ever win a championship. Good playoff teams take away your number 1 option and possibly your 2nd best option. The rocket love to jack 3s and get to the line. They won't nearly be as good at those things in the playoffs and will pay for it. Howard needs to be more involved and they desperately need a competent backup big.

James Harden looks scrubish when refs actually treat him like an NBA player and not bobble head mcgoo. I'm going to enjoy watching that flopping flailer fail ever actually winning anything worth a damn.

Also Jordan Adams looks a lot lighter.

I knew this was going to happen.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Memphis has Houston's number.

Grizzlies can match up with just about anyone except San Antonio

He had a great game tonight with 19 points and 7 boards. Also committed a dumb foul- fouling Rondo as 3 point shooter when the Suns were up 4 but it didn't cost them as Rondo missed all 3 free throws.

I wouldn't read too much into the Rockets loss against the Grizzlies as they were playing their 2nd game on a back to back on the road. They certainly haven't been playing good ball even in the previous game win over the Thunder.

I would say teams recently have won basketball titles have shot 3s and got to the line regularly (Spurs, Heat, Mavericks). Although perhaps you may be on to something that the Rockets half court offense isn't as good as those championship teams because they struggle with their half court offense. I would be more confident in the Rockets if they had a better head coach.
