An MRI revealed Lakers forward Ryan Kelly suffered a torn right hamstring, the team announced.

Kelly suffered the hamstring injury Sunday against the Warriors. The injury is expected to keep Kelly sidelined for at least six weeks.

With all our injury problems, its amazing that we still havent qualified for the hardship exception. I guess thats how unlucky we have been this year.

He needs weight training it's as simple as that. He needs to strengthen his quads which will automatically strengthen the hamstrings.

When I played ball, our coach made us do yoga 30mins, weight room 30mins, drill 30mins, and cool down 30mins while watching tape every afternoon we weren't having a game. On the day before a game we had a full length scrimmage with time and clock like in a game. I never had leg issues, always found using weights while doing drills and then ice kept them ready.

You really should open your mind to the benefit of yoga. I'd recommend yrg by DDP, I still do it and work in law enforcement. He has a routine great for core strength if you're not one that minds a few stinging sensations with his stretches which were meant for guys in the wrestling business who took a lot of bumps
