Bulls strategy late:
give the ball to whoever Jamal is guarding.

Re: Game #9: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Chicago Bulls
We need a change. The way we've started this season considering we have the exact same roster as last year is unacceptable. We have two beast bigs who can't score in the paint and shooters who can't get the lid off the basket.

This is a very bad team. The sad thing is, I don't really see a solution short of blowing it up and starting over. We don't even have the assets to get a real small forward.

Crawford Leading the Way
I know Jamal Crawford is playing the best offensively, but when he's the guy leading the way with both Paul and Griffin deferring to him, the Clippers are going to lose a lot more games than win them if that is the case.
Chicago played an admirable game and are a team worthy of respect. The Clippers look like they should be re-located to the Eastern Conference from a competitive standpoint.

CP3 has pretty much zero athleticism anymore and has turned into an overdribbling, ballhogging egomaniac. Also, I'm convinced Blake's back injury is a LOT more serious than what was reported over the summer. That's how.
It's like you're watching a different game if you think Paul is overdribbling and ballhogging, don't know where that is coming from.
Blake looks off in general

Well Blake snapping out of it, and a lot less of Redick and Barnes going 4/18 FG would help a good amount.
Outside of that, defense. Bulls were shooting awful to start the game, like 40/27 and finished the game 49/39, yea, good luck winning with that kind of defense.

How's Blake supposed to "snap out of" a bad back? I've noticed pretty much every Clipper site has been bashing Blake nonstop this year while the highest-paid player on the team gets a pass for his disappearing acts, and it's ridiculous.
Barnes is a marginal player and that's all he'll ever be. We don't have the trade assets to get anyone better, either. Maybe if Paul didn't insist on grabbing for the highest possible contract in free agency, we could have had some money to sign a real SF.

His issues are more so with his approach to the game. Even if the back was affecting him, that shouldn't be what is causing him to change how he is attacking. Posting up excessively and banging into guys certainly wouldn't be the solution to an ailing back. He seems to be thinking too much this season and not just playing basketball as much.
His back might be ailing, but it is his decision making and approach that has been a bigger issue than anything, so when he figures it out, it should help.
Have no clue what in the world Chris Paul's contract has to do with anything, not sure you understand how the salary cap works my friend

This is a bad team, man. I'm not going to sugarcoat the shitpile that's being trotted out on the court. It's not "whining," it's reality.

True, but this guy is all over. CP's contract somehow prevented the team from getting a SF. Some sort of weird stuff making it seem like we care about some Blake vs CP nonsense. Weird stuff, lol

Don't throw away draft picks, Doc.
Note to Doc: Don't be so quick to give away our draft picks because you never know who may fall into your lap.
Exhibit A: Jimmy Butler was taken 30th overall with the last pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft.
It wouldn't have been out of the question for the Clippers to have packaged both their second-rounders (37th and 47th overall) for a really late first-round selection with, say, the Spurs for the 29th overall pick that year.
By the way, the Clips took Trey Thompkins with #37 and Travis Leslie with #47.
Exhibit B: Chandler Parsons went immediately after Thompkins at 38th overall.
What the eff was Neil Olshey thinking that year?!
Granted Doc was not involved with those picks, but he hasn't shown himself adept in selecting the right players or even inclined towards developing them so far. Even still, draft picks can be cost-effective and valuable opportunities to fill holes on a roster in the hands of a competent personnel manager.

fine...then whine properly. do it constructively.
when he sits up here and say bull like:
- CP's lost all his athleticism
- Speculation about Blake's back and passing it off as fact.
- CP shouldn't have signed a max deal.
basically just throwing darts at a board for **** to be mad about after a loss, there's no meaningful conversation. We get nothing from it as a forum. I roll my eyes and OG, plays the role of OG and tries to make sense out of the bull whining.
main thing about whiners. they'll cry about some **** they know that can't be immediately solved. That way they can highjack the space/dialogue/forum any time they see fit....anybody ever had a girlfriend....like ever? you know what i mean.
next game thread where we lose....it'll be the same song.
oh CP shouldn't have signed a max deal.
he shouldn't have put little Chris in private school.
Blake shoulda kept his home in the Marina and not moved to Brentwood.

Its not a small sample and its not negative. We've looked bad since pre-season. I think its mainly down to the huge coaching downgrade. We had the same roster minus Collison plus Hawes, but we just don't look well coached at all, on both ends. I mean is it really that much of a surprise when you go from Gentry and Lue to Woodson and Frank?
That's compounded by a couple things. 1) The lack of a starting caliber SF. 2) The fact that teams have figured out how to guard us now. Like, even the bad teams. The spacing is terrible with DJ out there, but we can't do without his defense either. Our inability to compensate like we did last year tells me its down to the coaching, ultimately.
Without a Jeff Green trade or someone similar, we're toast. I've watched New Orleons a lot this year, and honestly, they're better than us too.

Too much dead weight on this roster.. I knew we had a problem after our 2nd preseason game. Thanks Doc
