Huge three.
Now, let's just create a turnover.

Nice rebound on the Kobe miss guys....after getting absolutely destroyed, the Hawks respond by coming home and losing to a 1-9 team. Just not a good team

Lol at any one blaming any player other than millsap or horford for this loss. Zero effort on the boards. Especially horford. Dude is a lame duck.

I'm done. That tip in by Hill ended it. Open your eyes fellas, the front court duo of Millsap/Horford can't REBOUND. One of them has to go this off season and we need a center.

Yeah, how long have the Hawks needed a center and never added one? It's getting ridiculous....we've been begging for a center for years

Re: ATL (5-4) vs LAL (1-9)
Shocking to say, but JJ at least had all star production. Thabo is a .03% three point shooter. And he makes terrible turnovers.
And I'd rather have Lou Williams and Bebe right now.
Horford looks like a shell of himself. I said twenty games but I see zero improvement in 5 games, and he has no post game anymore.
Lol at 50 wins. This team will be lucky to be .500

Sad team. We need someone that cares only about rebounding. It is that much of a problem for this team.

Why wait. We need a center now. But we may have waited too long and lost horfords trade value. Millsap is expiring no one will trade anything for him.
Sadly looks like Jamal was right we traded our only viable center for money

This is embarrassing. I'm not going to follow this team any more unless a miracle. At this point, i hope this franchise moves to another city. These players are embarrassing, and don't deserve to win.

Why are people talking about a "center"...... JORDAN HILL IS NOT A CENTER!!! Horford was going up against two undersized PFs!!!!

This is why the hawks don't get any credit.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Re: ATL (5-4) vs LAL (1-9)
Our PFs can't rebound and we have no height.
Millsap is playing like a SF/undersized PF and horford can't play center, I'm convinced.

Re: ATL (5-4) vs LAL (1-9)
they had two shots on practically all of their possessions down the stretch because we can't rebound smh

These refs seem to be after Korver. 3 losses (SA, CHA, LAL) crucial 4th quarter horrible foul calls were called on Korver.

We would be 0-4 in this stretch without Demarre right now if we still had Lou Williams over him. Possibly 1-3 with the Heat blowout.
Thabo has been solid everywhere other than his 3 pt shot which has been horrendous.
and I agree. 50 wins isn't happening. Horford being this bad has been a big surprise for me.

Re: ATL (5-4) vs LAL (1-9)
I was quite salty leaving Phillips last night. Here's my thoughts on the game last night after cooling down a bit.
The absence of Demarre was huge last night. Kobe is their best player and he plays SG which forced Thabo to play SG and it prohibited us from playing our small 2 guard lineup which really limited Dennis's minutes last night. We likely win this game if Demarre was on the court last night.
Bud made a huge mistake by deciding to double Kobe last night. I thought Thabo was doing a good on him overall. He was forcing Kobe in to long 2's and Kobe was making them. It's Kobe and there's not much you can do when he makes the off-balance long 2's when you have a hand in his face. The problem with doubling is it left our guys constantly scrambling to rotate and left us out of position on the boards. Our rebounding is weak enough and it takes a huge hit when our guys aren't in position or a player is left open because of Kobe being doubled.
Al Horford showed terrible effort last night. There was a play in the late third or early fourth where the ball bounced off the rim and rolled right by his feet and he just looked at it. A Laker player ran in and went to grab it, but lost control and Dennis ended up getting the rebound. That rebound was easily Al's if he gave any effort at all. Al has always relied on his jumper and open dunks for a lot of his points; however, he used to get 3 or 4 bully baskets a game where he would overpower the defender down low. He no longer has the ability to do this and is a strict jumpshooter now.
Our offense is mediocre when Korver isn't on. We are night and day when Korver is on or off. We are now 1-3 when Korver scores single digits.
The lack of effort in the first quarter was surprising after this team had a 2 day rest and was coming off of a monumental blow out. The refs certainly didn't help either. It seemed like every play in the first quarter was a whistle for the lakers. The whistles seemed pretty even throughout the next 3 quarters, but the Lakers already had the lead that they needed.
