I think we are set at PG even without him with Dragic/Thomas/Ennis, and a star calibre (two way) player at PF between Warren and Len would set our frontline for the foreseeable future. We'd then be just a solid 3&D SG away from a formidable lineup. And you don't pay $14m per for a 3&D guy.
We could even return the Morrii to the bench where they have proven they can excel. A bench mob of Thomas+the Morrii would give us a killer 8 man rotation. Bit players like Plumlee, Archie etc can fill in the remaining minutes depending on matchups.
But who to target? Some thoughts...
Bledsoe for Julius Randle & filler (Nash expiring)
- Trading talent for rookie scale potential at the PF spot. Both Randle & Nash would be inactive for the rest of the year. Tolliver could act as a placeholder for him until he arrives next season, when Tollie's TO could be declined. Or, could include Tolliver for Boozer as an expiring PF swap.
Bledsoe for David West
- Trade down on talent for 2 years of an established veteran PF. We can draft his replacement with the Lakers pick.
Bledsoe for Ryan Anderson & filler
- Unlikely scenario where Bledsoe is the better player, but Anderson may actually hold more value to each team, given his rebounding and stretch PF ability.
Bledsoe for Serge Ibaka
- Only remotely possible if Westbrook continues to be injured, and OKC likes what PJ3/ Adams gives them at PF/C. Can only imagine what a combo of Ibaka and Len would look like defensively.
Or, we could include the Lakers pick to nab someone in the next tier up. We'd be set for developing talent so it wouldn't really be all that integral - note, these are largely pipe dreams:
Bledsoe, Tolliver and Lakers pick for Bosh
- Bosh would be a great fit, but he's such a huge salary hit. It'd probably be manageable though given the number of rookie contracts on the books.
Bledsoe and Lakers pick for Horford
- Everyone's favourite but can't see ATL having that great of a need for Bled, especially at the expense of Horford. Lakers pick might intrigue them though.

First and second trades are terrible. One player is too old and one is too young and injured.
Third trade is not remotely even as Bledsoe is a much better player.
The last three are not remotely likely.
If one of the point guards are to the traded, it will happen at the end of the year and I predict it will be Thomas because Ennis will be ready to step into the reserve role. Thomas will want to be on a team where he can start and finish games as opposed to being on the bench.

I got my eye on our guy......T.J. mutha@#$%^& Warren!
He is for real. Batum is a one trick pony spot up shooter. Warren has all around game.

I wouldn't be interested due to the length of Bledsoe's contract and already having Teague and Schroder.

We also send out the Lakers 1st to Atlanta.
I think TJ Warren can contribute right now, and can compliment IT off the bench, but a future starting lineup that consist of Bledsoe/Warren/Ibaka/Len looks legit.
