Man, Kentucky dominated Kansas tonight. That was pretty shocking. Interested to see how the of them pan out.

At this point, it's obvious that Kansas is overrated. I expect them and Michigan State to be in the race in March. As great as a 32 point win is for Kentucky, they have a lot to work on. Devin Booker was 0-5 in the first half for threes and they shot 33% percent from downtown as a team. They committed 21 fouls, so they will have to learn how to stay out of foul trouble because Kansas shot 50% percent from the charity stripe. In my opinion, the best team yesterday was the Blue Devils. The trio of freshman (Okafor, Jones, Winslow) looks extremely potent against a overmatched Michigan State team. Last year with Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood, the paint was wide open for teams to score. With Okafor, Duke now has a stellar post defense combined with solid perimeter defense and playmakers on the other end of the floor.

UK didn't even play well offensively. When you have all that height, I don't understand all of the 3s that were attempted. I found it interesting today that nbadraft.net has the three Kansas guys going ahead of everyone except Towns for UK. If they really want to make this special with all of the sacrifices of playing time, I would love to see them never force a shot. Poythress really didn't force the 3 but that's not his game even though he can make one. Leave the long balls for some of the others. I would Love to see Lyles get more touches with the White. Got to give it to Cal, just enough offense on both platoons.

Here is a link to all the early season tourneys and the projections if you want to keep track, though I wish they had dates.

As for brackets, I have the one for the Maui invitational, being an AZ fan and all. If anyone has other brackets, go ahead and post them here so we can follow.

The Maui Inviational starts Monday and includes AZ, Missouri, Pitt, K State, Purdue, BYU and SDSU. Semifinals are Tuesday afternoon, and finals on
