Yeah, it's a stretch. Just an excuse for the club's inconsistency.

Hopefully we can get Walker for renting J-Up but I doubt it.

Jemile Weeks for Jim Johnson
Michael Choice for Craig Gentry
Addison Russell for The Shark and Jason Hammel
Yoesnis Cespedes for Jon Lester

All these trades in one season and what do you know? Weeks, Choice, Russell, and Cespedes brings diversity to the clubhouse, but Billy Beane didn't want that.

How does he feel about the gays?

The fact of the matter is Billy Beane doesn't embrace diversity. You get maybe 3 or 4 non-white players and maybe 1 is a regular in the lineup.

your claim is he doesnt trade for black and latin players, i gave you 5 examples that debunks your claim. and that's just trades, he also signed plethora of black free agents like coco and frank thomas.

there is no more turning, this is over vince carter style.

But just 8.3 percent of players on opening day rosters in 2013 were African-American, according to the University of Central Florida Institute for Diversity in Sports (PDF), making many wonder about the league’s ability and interest in swinging for the fences on diversity in a country where 13.1 percent of the population is black

explains why it is so hard to trade for black players. there aren't many of em.

There are 67 black players in the major leagues, with three teams not represented by a single African-American player - the San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks and St. Louis Cardinals.

I don't even want to get excited about Tomas either the Braves are faking interest or he will bust if we sign him.

The A's will never go far with Billy Beane as the GM or Wolff as the owner. Both of those guys are a disaster. One is too cheap of a owner and one is too close minded to embrace diversity.
