Is Kirlenko worth a TPE and a 2nd round pick?

Post#1 » by Bentley1225 » Fri Nov 21, 2014 9:11 pm

Several teams could use Kirlenko in their rotation that subsequently have TPE. Would the Nets be willing to deal him for a 2nd round pick and TPE?. Is he worth that much?

Just a thought

tbh I think just the $$$ savings should be enough considering the tax money that gets saved here. I'm not sure he returns even a 2nd at this point unless its like the Rockets or someone else with a late one.

I think so, it's a low risk move as he's expiring. I think he still can bring something of valuable, his offensive game is pretty brutal, but he's still got a very high basketball IQ - knowing how to get open, and can still play some D.

It saves Prok like $12 million or something with luxury tax though a late 2nd really isn't worth much to the Nets, but it's still a better alternative then buying him out.

Portland would take him in exchange for Dorell Wright.

I love this so much for both teams that there is zero chance it happens.

Lakers have a hole at SF. We could use him. How many years left on his contract?

havent seen him play in a couple of years...not sure if he resembles anything like he used to be...if he does, he is definitely worth a 2nd rd pick
