The Cavs fans wanted to be upset, but then they realized that was the longest a tourist has ever stayed in their city for.

I have mixed feelings on this stuff. Going to raptors games especially back when they sucked I never liked seeing fans decked out in the opponents jerseys and when they cheered for the other team.

If this was the other way around and the ACC was filled with cheering Lakers fans for example I don't know if people here would be as cool with it?

How did they organize it?

This is so awesome. I hope Raps fans making the trip to a bunch of road games and drowning the 4th quarter with WE THE NORTH chants as we close the game out can become a common trend :)

How do chants like this get started? They seem so elaborate. How does everyone get on board with this. I want one

Most bigger Euroleague teams have organized fan groups/Ultras. These fans follow the team on road trips, have their chants prepared and coordinated, sometimes this goes out of hand when two opposing fan groups meet, this week in Stambul before Euroleague game one such fan was stabbed to death..

P.S. just one example from my favorite Lithuanian team - Žalgiris ultras page, containing all their chants/lyrics:

That actually does happen when the Lakers come to town, but it's Torontonians doing the cheering. That's way worse, but you can't stop someone from buying a ticket. At least these fans appear to be from Canada and made the trip.

It's really on the 19 thousand Cleveland fans to drown out a few hundred Raptor fans.

If they're native Angelinos/Angelinas, then I have no problems with it. If there bandwagon Torontonians, well ... I'd just wash my hands of them and think "too each his/her own".

Leaf fans are prevalent throughout arenas in the NHL, and people call them "passionate Leaf Nation". Raptor fans start getting behind their team and it's starting to get borderline obnoxious? Come on man.

I, for one, hoping we see MORE of this throughout the league. We've been held down all of these years by the league ignoring us, so it's only fitting we grab this sum'bitch by the throat and make noise ourselves.

There should be a Game of Zones made where you see the NBA on one side of The Wall and the Raptor fans and players north of the wall coming as frozen, cold hearted Raptors to take over the league.

That wall represents everything the NBA has ever done to hold us back. We are knocking that down now finally.

Wade is basically Ben Gordon without the 3-point shooting. Sure, he's been a pretty good defender this year, so that would upgrade, but I'd rather have Gordon because he's cheaper and can hit those threes

Surprised RealGM hasn't organized anything like this?

Most of them were with a bus tour from Toronto. They just bought up a whole section.
