Pats @ Packers lead up

Two hottest teams meet on Sunday in Lambeau. I may beg, borrow or steal my way to get down there.

If we win this, we will get the #1 seed in the NFC.

I am going to predict that we lose this game... but that we win the Super Bowl.

Pack 3 pt favorites so Vegas sees it basically as a push. This should be a fun game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

On one hand the Pats have been incredible since Week 2-on. On the other hand Green Bay has looked unbeatable at home. I'd lay the three and take GB.

Pats are the best team in league right now. Would not be surprised with a loss, but I don't see anyway they blow us out like they did with Chi and Detroit

I was a little surprised by this, I was expecting Packers to be -2.5

This should be an instant classic. The two best QB's of this generation dueling it out.

Don't know if Pats defense is that good or if Detroit's offense is just that bad (probably a little of both), but hopefully Lacy can gash them like he's done to Philly and Minny the last two weeks.

Revis and Browner are one of the best CB tandems in the league, so I'm worried that Nelson or Cobb may get shut down and force Adams or the TEs to step up.

I'm absolutely terrified of what Gronk will be able to do against the middle of our defense. :uhoh:

Remember early in the season when the national media was suggesting the Pats were done and a vocal group here was saying we couldn't possibly contend because xyz? Pretty good times. Prettay, prettay, prettay, prettay, pretty good.

Looking forward to the highly anticipated matchup between Gronk and Hawk.

And by looking forward, I mean not looking forward.

I actually didn't catch the whole game yesterday. I saw several horrendous plays by Hawk where it looked like he had cinder blocks for shoes. Was he hurt in any form or did they just have Brad Jones in there on a few plays late for some other reason?

They're going to have to put Hyde or somebody on Gronk as well, which also probably means getting torched, just by jump balls and not just having Gronk wide open (if Hawk covered him alone).

I could also see Belichick taking his Colts victory strategy and running 40 power running plays. Also might not be good.

Not sure how Hawk graded it on PFF yesterday, but hopefully it was awful because he looked horrendous. I did notice that in the second half, it did appear that he was coming off the field on obvious passing downs with much more regularity. If Gronk can just be somewhat contained, the Packers will win this game.

I'd like to think McCarthy was so stupid yesterday because he was saving his smarts for this game. Hopefully he gameplans the crap out of this one like the Flynn vs. Patriots game.

The only thing that worries me right now about this matchup is their TE's against Hawk / our safeties. It looked like Kyle Rudolph was just running free the entire game, and he was frickin visibly hurt. Gronk is going to rape AJ.

I would hope to Christ that Capers understands that Hawk cannot in any instance stick with Gronk. It would seem Clinton-Dix would be our best matchup on him size wise, but who really knows.

I think if we contain the Gronk - we win this game. If we don't, it could get ugly.

I was just going to say, I'd put HHCD on him. It's better to go small and quick against Gronk and at least limit the damage he does on YAC even if he does box you out to get the ball.

It would be nice if the Packers had a physical freak on offense like a Gronk. Everyone we have now are very skilled technicians.
