And even if the Bears get to 10-6, there's no guarantee of making the playoffs. They have to pass two of Dallas (8-3), San Francisco (7-4), and Seattle (7-4) in the standings. Our best hope is probably that SF and SEA split their two matchups and each lose one other game against an NFC team, giving the Bears the tiebreaker over both.

Actually the Bears have very good odds to make the playoffs at 10-6. At 10-6, of "possible" 10-6 WC teams, they'd only lose the tie breaker to one (Green Bay). Pretty unlikely both NFC Wild Card teams are 11-5.
