Also, all of that said, I don't know if I want to face Dallas either. I cringe at the thought of Hawk trying to tackle Murray in 5 degree weather.

Murray cringes at the thought of 5 degree weather. He's a fast track player. He will not be himself (not to mention he's very likely to put the ball on the ground) in the snow/cold. I'm not worried about Dallas in the slightest.

Saw this on Reddit today - the Buccaneers are 1 game away from the #1 overall pick and 2 games away from being in the playoffs. Hilarious.

That division is really messed up. The falcons could lead the division with a 4-7 record if the Saints lose tonight. Their 4 wins came from within the division

Rodgers pulled a hammy and started doing weird stuff.

Not to sound like a homer but the Saints loss and Lions loss this season were two of the flukiest losses the Packers have had in years.

The Seahawks game is the only game this season where I feel that we simply got beat by the better team and that we'd probably lose to them again if we played them again.

If we had to play the Lions and Saints 8 times each our record would probably be 13-3

I don't buy that Saints loss being a big fluke. Our defense got gashed for 500 yards, including 200 yards rushing.

Granted, our offense also put up 500 yards and should have scored more than 23 points, but that Saints offense ate up the Packers defense.

In the Lions game, their defense held the Packers offense to only 223 yards because their front four/seven dominated the Packers OL. That allowed them to crush our running game and get pressure with only four rushers, while playing both safeties back to take away any big passing plays.

He seemed frustrated majority of that game, even when it was still I think 16-16. Was pretty odd.

I don't think the lions game was a fluke. Rushing 4 and having 7 in coverage works against our offense. And if 4 guys on the dline can stop the run we are screwed. Vikings did the same thing and held us to 24pts but the oline blocked better and lacy ran better against minny. No secret Detroit has a much better dline.

Running game will be the game decider in week 17.

Yep. That said though, I think the Packers are better equipped now than they were 2 years ago vs the Giants (a game which they still could have won if they just hadn't fumbled 3 times and defended a Hail Mary) with Lacy and Starks too able to provide a strong run threat. And probably better equipped than they were @Det this year, because (1) the Lions' (or whoever's) D won't be as quick on the field and off the snap at Lambeau and (2) any running game should be better in Dec/Jan than in Sept.

I don't think I would have said this the last few years, but GB getting home field advantage will really be an advantage this year.

I expect the pack to win in a close game in week 17. Like a 21 to 17 kinda score. I agree we are better prepared now. The line has jelled. The beginning of the season corey was thrown into the fire and bulaga was injured or coming off an injury.
