Quin Snyder is gonna knock one of his own players out some day, lol.

Easily the most entertaining coach on the sidelines when he gets pissed.

He's from Dallas, some players just play really well in their hometown. 29 points on 10/13 shooting. :D

Jameer Nelson, you have Dirk being guarded by Scola. The 9th leading scorer in NBA history. Give him the ball, you idiot.

He's gonna get traded. No way he resigns with the Suns when he has to share the ball with two other guards.

Besides, he's going to get paid $12 million/ year. Too much to spend on Thomas, bledsoe AND dragic.

Raps are 18-10 against the West since the Rudy trade.

I didnt see that. I saw IT with the ball and then amir flying into the pile. Most would call that a foul right there. But even after that I saw IT with the ball turned up on his back calling a TO.

But it was a jump :nonono:

Why would it be a foul?? Everyone just jumped for the loose ball. The ball was loose when lowry and thomas went down first. Which caused amir to jump in. Your arguing about a baseless thing. Not even close to a foul.

Its not football. If you are near the ball you can dive for it. You can't come flying in our outside and just dive on people.

..and if it was called a jump... Once that was calledwhich it was..it should of been Amir taking the jump. But :nonono: they said it was a Lowry jump ball. It was a bad call, not in favor of the Raptors. Unless you feel strongly that a 6'9" power forward has the advantage over a 6'0" Lowry.

Lowry got hit with a charge call with the Suns obviously moving, and then refs looked the other when Lowry should of received a charge call(on defense)almost the next play. Lowry got called on a pretty tic-tac call while on defense...around the same time.
Look Yes Raptors took more Free throws but..

Stats before this game:

Raptors - 30 FTA (2nd)

Suns - 28.3 Opp FTA (30th)

Its kind of too be expected. Suns took almost double the 3 point attempts and Jonas takes 9 ft's himself while just destroying the Suns frontcourt.

Last four minutes, Dirk takes zero shots. Good grief.

Can't lose games like this and have such a great offense go stagnant. Worst it's looked all year.

Huge win for the Pacers. Regrettable loss for the Mavs, but nothing to sweat. Every team has games like this every year.

hands11 wrote:So let me ask the TOR fans.

What teams do you think would give TOR trouble ?

Who would be a bad/tough match up and why ?

TBH, I think the Raptors have a fairly versatile crew . They can hang for the most part with teams at either end of the spectrum. Fast teams with goo guard play, or slow it down big frontcourt teams or anything between.

But, in that spectrum, I'd say they are most vulnerable to the slow-it down, big front-court teams. Chicago for example is probably teetering onto the less favorable side of match ups for us, and Memphis too. I mean we can win some of em, but not probably our specialty.

I'd say the reason is mostly because Raps are small in terms of bigs off the bench. Patterson and Hansbro are 2 ok sized PF's in reality, but Bulls always have 2 really big, good bigs out there. We used Hayes effectively off the bench instead of Hansbro against Memphis, and it worked, but not sure it's the best long term strategy to rely on Hayes off the bench, as it's kind of 4 on 5 offensively when he plays. I don't think you want to get stuck playing him 20mpg for an entire series because of matchups.

Raps have some expirings and picks though, so may be able to address this weakness. I would really like someone like KG to come off the bench for us.

great defensive identity, and lowry is awesome.

only negative is demar's chucking, it's going under the radar because team is rolling, but he's in a horrible slump right now.
he's never been a very efficient scorer, but his 40.5% is a career worst. I understand that now he's facing double teams more often than not, but seriously need to improve his reads on that and kick it out more.

Im with you here.

I love the team, love Demar, but he needs to stop forcing bad shots. Once he polishes up that aspect of his game he'll be incredible.

... Mavs were just offensive machines every game I watch. How did that happen with the Pacers missing 4/5(3 of 5 if your not counting PG) of their starters?
