They usually have 20+ pages before the game even starts. That is madness!!!!!

Not sure what is going on with the Cavs. Three studs in Lebron, Love, and Irving yet they are just 5-6. Love has practically disappeared ... points, rebounds down ... shooting percentage is way down.
Zero defense. If you give middling teams a chance to beat "Lebron," you can damn well bet they are going to try their very hardest to do that.

Even without Durant & Westbrook the Thunder shouldn't be worst than the Lakers. I cant believe they're off to a 3-12 start, will be difficult making the playoffs they really need those two guys back in a week to two tops.

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
Steve McPherson: It’s only fitting that on the 10th anniversary of the Malice at the Palace, Detroit should play a butt-ugly game in Auburn Hills. The Pistons combined with the Suns to shoot 27.5 percent from 3-point range in a game that Phoenix won 88-86 after Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s desperation 3-pointer didn’t go. According to Dr. Markieff Morris, that was due to a disorder even more rare than situs invertus (which is something that affects Randy Foye, and means that all of his internal organs are on the opposite side of his body — I **** you not):Vincent Goodwill @vgoodwill
Markieff Morris: "KCP got it and you know he doesn't have any heart so we knew he was going to miss it."
Morris MD’s diagnosis began early on when he hit Eric Bledsoe on a beautiful cut off a give-and-go, leaving Caldwell-Pope burned so badly that all he could do was messily foul Bledsoe and send him to the line.
Then, in the second quarter, Morris drew a charge on Caldwell-Pope that apparently confirmed his suspicions. Doctor-patient confidentiality means we can’t know what they said to each other here, but I’m fairly certain Morris is saying, “Sir, I’m concerned by the hollow sound your chest made when you bounced off me just then, and I think you should see a cardiovascular specialist.”
Morris’s accomplishments in medical science (including cloning himself) are well known, but with only two other known cases of cardia in absentia, there just isn’t enough precedent for him to recommend a course of treatment. The best option is hospice, a duty for which the Detroit Pistons are well-suited.

Ugh Dragic's body language and attitude is NOT good.
We surely have to at least call ATL and see if a Dragic/Plumlee/pick for Horford type deal is possible? I don't want to trade Dragic but I don't want to pay him $15m per if he's going to pout.
We had no size in the middle for how many years and we STILL don't. Much as I love Plumlee he's a 20-24min reserve off the bench - better energy guy than Lou but he simply can't start 82 games for a good team.
Still not convinced about Len yet either - everything in the paint is so systematic and slow, but he is young and you can see the improvement in his game without a doubt.

Why do you wanna trade Dragic? You think its better to pay Bledsoe $14M than pay Dragic $15M?
You think its better to pay IT $7M than pay Dragic $15M?
I wasn't gonna mention but I'll do it now...I don't think its such a coincidence that SAC players made comments about how their better off without IT after he signed here and now the Kings have one of the best records in the league with Collison as the IT replacement.

Dude read my post - I said I DON'T WANT TO TRADE DRAGIC.

He's a FA at the end of the year, will command a contract at/more than Bledsoe's, and he wasn't brought in by McD. If anyone is being dealt, I think it's him. BUT, we'd be somewhat silly for selling low on him, which is a concern obviously.
I would trade IT before Dragic without blinking - I'd rather keep both, but if we can get an All Star big using one of our PGs, we need to do it.
I think one guy who is definitely out there and could be had for less than market value is Brook Lopez. The problem is he's not that rebounder we need, but he's a good shot-blocker and is a legit go to option down-low.

Yes, I think Dragic's value has dropped a little and if he plays this way all season long he will not earn that kind of contract. We have to ponder that he will be 29 next season, so probably something like $50M/ 4 years can be enough to retain him like a Sun.
About Sacto, I like Collison a lot. He is good enough to be an starting PG on a contender if you have great scorers around him (like Gay and Cousins). They need good players at SG and PF's positions, because they are very young or mediocre at these two spots, but they have a great structure for the future with Collison, Gay and Cousins.
He seems a better fit than Isaiah for sure.

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
If I'm McD I'm looking at Favors, Horford and obviously hoping against hope that Marc Gasol has some possible interest in signing here.
The way we're currently built, we're not catching teams off guard like last year and it's clear to everyone that something isn't kosher with the share of back-court minutes.
I can't see any team making a move for Thomas unless we take back junk, nor is McD going to move his 'guy' after re-signing him to a MASSIVE deal - which unfortunately leaves all signals pointing to Dragic.
It's INCREDIBLY unlikely, but why not call Detroit and ask about Drummond? Offer up Dragic, Ennis, the MIN and the LAL pick for him - see what they say, worst they say is no...

Re: Around The NBA: 2014/2015
Faried is another guy we could potentially look at - what he would cost and what DEN would want is anyone's guess.
They'd basically be admitting they choose the inept Shaw over Faried wouldn't they? He'd be great in terms of intensity and rebounding, but he's too small for C and Kieff is our guy at PF.
I'd LOVE Gobert from the Jazz but doubt he's going anywhere, if anything Kanter could probably be had for a player and a pick. With that three point shot developed I wouldn't be averse to going after him, he's a very good rebounder (not as much this year it seems). Still, he's crap on D but might pair well with Len.

LOL two Warrior fans actually listed Phoenix in this thread, they clearly doesn't watch any Suns basketball.
They were the only ones though thank god otherwise I'd seriously question the intelligence of those posters in that thread

Anybody see warriors singing on the plane after their victories? Reminds me a lot of our dominant teams back in the day. Our 09/10 team used to do that a lot. Great chemistry with very talented players. And yes LB in the video. He's probably loving it.

The constant from those teams is they both involve Kerr. He was always big team unity.

Instead of firing him as GM, we should have just moved him to HC.

Kerr is an intelligent guy and peoples person. I guess likable coach. Together with Gentry they focus on team building and chemistry. Good things. Let's see where it gets them come playoff time. If Suns are out, I wish them the best.

I guess this is what the Spurs are saying after seeing the suns last night vs the nuggets.
