I don't know if it is because it is more noticeable in critical moments but it seems like Big Al is used a lot more than that.

Trading Al isn't going to change the fact that Lance has been a TERRIBLE defender. Look in the stats thread, Al's defense really hasn't been as bad as people like to think.

Lance, as bad at D he has been, has played 7x better D than AL. Al plays D like he is not a center and like he has no other responsibilities other than his man. He does not protect the rim or close down lanes. Having watched 50 more games this year around the league than I should have, Al Jefferson is one of the five worst defenders in the league.

Lance, Kemba, and even MKG cannot be good defenders with Al as the rim protector and lane closer. The bigs should make the wings look good on D and not the other way around.

In the GSW game Lance forced Klay left and made him pick up his dribble a little early. Lance forced him pretty well right into the help. IN Indy Roy would have blocked it with both hands. Not only did Al not make the play but he was not even over there at all. Did not even try. This is par for the course for Al.

lance has been average on D but Al has been atrocious.

I agree, this could get ugly
