The east is looking terribly weak.

I almost want some of these teams to win to make the east look more competitive

I'd take him over Demar for sure, but he'd be great on any team. His game has developed considerably.

Would it be awkward to offer Butler the max next July, and then keep DeMar if it isn't accepted?

Steve Nash could learn a few things from Aaron Gray who despite being waived continues to help the team.

"They brought me here for a service," Gray said. "Even though I've been waived, the type of guy I am, I'm still getting paid for two years. I just wouldn't feel right not contributing as much as I possibly could.

"The organization's been great. It's been great being around the bigs, giving them as much knowledge as I can, helping out as much as possible, and just being able to use the facilities during my rehab."

Maybe, Undefeated is going to work for the legendary Chicago Bulls franchise.

Steph Curry a chucker? Get outta here. That brother can ball.

There isn't a team in the league he wouldn't start for. GSW lack of success in the last few years has much more to do with coaching and injuries. They're a contender this year.

Raptors have a 2.5 game lead on second place already. And if the Raptors and Cavs win (vs Washington) tonight, we'll have a 3.5 game lead. After 15 games.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Denver is back to .500. Now Masai's got both his teams rolling.

And since when do we call guards averaging 22 points a game on 43% shooting from the three with solid defense role players? I'd call Thompson one of, if not the best, current shooting guard in the entire league. You put Thompson on the Raptors and we're the favourites to win the ECF (then again, we might be already :) )

With or without Thompson we wouldn't win the east. If the Bulls and Cavs meltdown, we can win the east without a guy like Thompson. Point i'm making is, Thompson is good but he's not the difference between making the finals or losing in the ECF. He just doesn't have that sort of impact.

You don't watch a lot of GS ball, do you?

Klay is on the same level as Lowry as a player. Thompson is an elite shooter and scorer and a solid defender. Only reason Lowry is an equal is because of his play making and penchant for making momentum changing defensive plays.

We're the best team in the league with Klay in and Demar out. Period.

But that's his downside.

No thats his backside.

Lowry's upside is mental and psychological.
