yeah, he obviously was not going to keep that up. its not like he was even that terrible this game either. 10 points, 4 assists, 1 TO, 2 steals. Not his best game, but there were other players who were much worse this game.

At the end, we still nearly beat a solid mavs team on the road without Melo.

for anyone who watched the game he also made 3-4 really nice passes to acy, dalembert and a couple to JR smith which they call clanked easy wide open looks.

With better players that could have been easily a 7 or 8 assist night.

but you would actually have to watch the game to see that.

yes his shot is struggling but he was never going to keep up that shooting, he isn't kyle korver and for anyone who thought he was, i don't know what to say.

How about Calderon though? You can certainly see the value he adds to this team. Smart player, good passer, elite shooter...he brings a lot of things to the table that we need.

just like we shouldnt sign anyone with the initials JJ, or hire anyone named Isiah, no more JSmiths on the team...please get those clowns off this team by next season.

2 things is all i want to see.

you can't play amare and jason smith together, i just don't see how that is that hard to realize.

you need a quicker trigger on JR.

outside of that I don't mind his coaching and the team plays hard for him but the 2 things above are really no brainers which haven't yet been accomplished by him as a coach.

Can't really play Amare and Cole together either.

Who else would play over JR? Tim?

Either way, I don't think the results would drastically change

Fans expect Fish to perform Alchemy with this roster.

That's besart's department.

Playing Jason and Amare at the same time and JR/THJ over Shump/Wear wont help either!!

All his buckets were spot up 3 pointers. You need to compensate for where he lacks elsewhere penetration, finishing at the bucket, and defending and I don't like compensating. On championship team he's a spot up 3 point shooter.. nothing else and nothing more.

if amare is going to play, fine i can live with that when he isn't turnign the ball over every possession. But Cole should be in there to back him up. Or if you are set to have amare at center acy should be in there for extra rebounding and help defense (defensive rotations).

JR needs a quicker leash, outside of a few late shots he nailed he was pretty garbage throughout. We have enough quality guards you can mix and match. Calderon, Larkin, and Prigs were all good tonight. Maybe even throw in travis wear or THjr extra burn for a few minutes if they are playing well.

he is just a player that needs a short leash because he is a mental midget.

It's not happening.

That confident in Okafor and Towns, huh? Jahlil looks like a pretty safe pick to me, but I'm a little scared of Towns falling in love with the perimeter.

why can't you play cole and amare together? because they are both slow? cole is more athletic than Jason Smith and can provide a little shot blockign and rebounding

i don't see any reason you can't play them together.

Your answer to this is to play Cole?

Nah. My answer to it is to embrace the tank.

Our roster actually makes me laugh.

I'm so confused Thug.

Karl or Jahil

I watched Towns' draftexpress video the other day and learned he's not that athletic :( Kinda put me off of him

And I hope the other 29 tems believe this as well. The kid is athletic enough for someone 7ft 250. Watch a few Kentucky games, Cal uses him literally as a secret weapon, and he does everything on the court.

Jose and Pablo done raining 3's yet? Crazy shooting.

Tyson Chandler made a statement.

The Smiths appeared to not be very helpful tonight--tho credit to JR for forcing OT.

Really good game overall tho for the Knicks without Melo. Really made us work tonight. That's by the far the most Dirk has had to expend as far as effort and minutes. But it sure is great to have him to milk down the stretch.

Yeah, me too for the most part. If we could land either one of them I'd be smiling ear to ear, but you gotta land in the top 3, maybe the top 2, and there's so many bad teams in the league right now. Gonna have to get lucky.

So? He played like he played tonight in all those games then got hurt.

He also played very well during the regular seasons he was here with us exception of last year coming back from injury and even then he was not that damn bad. The thing with Tyson tough is that he's more like the final piece, he's not a core piece.
