Ed Davis would have been far better an option on this team then Blair. We have enough girth, we need some athleticism. Need to get rid of one of Seraphin and Blair for a combo guard or see what we can put together for Henson. I'd also still like to get Birch back.

We are the polar opposite of the Atlanta Hawks who are a very well coached team.

And the more I see Humphries against starting caliber players, the more I know we need to see Pierce starting at PF in Nene's place.

WallWithTheDime, the east is a weak division.

Two wins over Indiana, two over Milwaukee, two more over Orlando. Those are 6 Wizards wins out of 9. ...

One win over Detroit. One over New York. One over Cleveland by 13 points. The Wizards have 9 wins, all against the east, the biggest against Cleveland. They lost by 26 to Cleveland last night. Which win was a quality win, considering last night and the fact Cleveland is 7-7?

WWTD, I have been a fan 40 years. I will be just as much of a fan over the next 70 plus games, God willing. :)

At the same time, I am going to keep it real. I suggested some things above. Just my opinion. All the Wizards have done so far is thrive from a very favorable schedule. They lost the last two badly. They have got smacked by the better teams every time.

Now is a time to not be smug or overconfident.

I had them winning against ATL and losing CLE and NO.

They just need to make up for the ATL lose with a NO win and they are right back on schedule 10-5 thought NOV

Then they go on a nice win streak to start Dec

Dec 1 MIA
Dec 3 LAL
Dec 5 DEN
Dec 7 @ BOS
Dec 8 BOs
Dec 10 @ ORL

Originally had this 6-0 over these games which they might be able to do but 4-2 or better will be fine. They can still go 5-1 over these games.

Yea, but why panic, what's Cleveland excuse to going 7-7.

Okay, I agree on that. Never panic.

Aaron Rogers would say, "Relax. R-E-L-A-X".

The Wizards did play well against elite teams last year and even got some quality Ws on them

Ariza had a lot to do with last year's success over elite teams.

Agreed. I posted this in the wrong thread:

Hindsight is 20/20.

Perhaps the past few games would have gone better if Randy had started a smaller, quicker lineup of Wall, Beal, Porter, Pierce, and Gortat.

The next 5 could have been Miller, Temple, Butler, Humprhies, Seraphin with Gooden playing any frontcourt position.
