No a superstar is LBJ, AD, Prime Dwight, Duncan etc etc

A player who you can put some average guys around and yet they can still be competitive and make the playoffs. Obviously not win it all but a superstar is one who is a gamechanger. That ain't Melo. He is a very good 2nd option. Melo iso ball at the end of games is bad basketball. To be honest I was really glad when NYK signed him to 5 years 126 mil, mediocrity for years.

Playoff experience will help them immensely. They will get a taste of what it's like and also be challenged.

I thought Sanders was the only one who really stood out last night.

And Minnesota looks like a great team in spurts but they're just far too young to maintain a certain level of play. They seem to be able to compete with a lot of good teams for stretches, but they lose their focus and give the opponent good runs. I think they'll be unreal in a couple years though. Just need a certain consistency in their level of play.

You're thinking of the Nets:
2015 1st to ATL
2016 1st to BOS
2016 2nd to LAC (swap rights)
2017 1st to BOS (swap rights)
2018 1st to BOS

The Knicks have all their 1sts except 2016, but no 2nd round pick until 2020

Anyone think Milwaukee is a borderline playoff team? I was wondering if they were for real so I checked out there schedule, it looks to be easier than ours . They have won in Mia and bkn and have a good win against the grizz. Other than that they have been playing bottom 10 teams constantly, there's a good chance that they don't win a game in December after looking at the schedule, I would bet they don't win more than 3 games that month

With Westbrook and Durant set to return it's tough to say which team misses the post-season out West.

It looks like it's gonna be the Suns that give up their spot to OKC but they looked pretty good when we played them.

I'd love to see Moses Sullinger on our team. Dude has such a wonderful game to watch.

They are trying to compete this year, they just suck.

It is amusing to see all the Knicks fan say there team would be fairly good, now acting as if it's an intentional tank. Bottom of the barrel just like their team.

I talked about this is the general board and got attacked blaming coaches and the team around him. I was even accused to be a hater because Melo slept with my mother.

Melo is not a top 5 player in the league, but look at that crap around him.

A rotation of Larkin, Prigioni, Hardaway, Shumpert, Amare, Acy, Dalembert, Smith. And Calderon and Bargnani. Without Melo its a 15 win team at best.

I think only 2 players in the league could take a team like that to the Eastern playoffs.

Once again the Celtics choke away the 4th Quarter

They are so close to being a solid team but cannot close out games
