We get the short end of the calls in Denver, the last ten years or so. So I expect a huge free throw differential not in our favor. So we have to shoot well, board well, and limit our turnovers, and we have a good chance of pulling this one out.

Not quite sure what you're implying. Some ongoing officiating bias against the Suns in Denver? Style of play of Nugz v. Suns?

Even before looking at the numbers, I'd guess that with the Nuggets generally being more a down low and rebounding strong team and the Suns relying more on long distance shooting (generally in both cases), that Denver would tend to get more FTAs...to be expected.

This season the Suns average 21 FTs a game and the Nuggets 27. There's already a separation before the word "go".

With the exception of the last game, the Nuggets and Suns free throw attempt numbers have been split about 50/50 in recent games (Suns +1 in Denver)-

3/11/13 Suns 17-22 Nuggets 17-25
4/17/13 Suns 11-17 @Nuggets 16-20

11/8/13 Suns 25-32 Nuggets 23-28
12/20/13 Suns 21-31 @Nuggets 25-29
1/19/14 Suns 17-26 Nuggets 22-30
2/18/14 Suns 31-39 @Nuggets 26-37

11/26/14 Suns 17-21 Nuggets 26-34

I'd bet Denver has more free throw tonight, but simply due to style, and they will likely be more the aggressor having just lost to PHX. The refs will do their per usual impartial best.

Yes.
After sitting out Wednesday's game for an ankle bruise, Isaiah Thomas is expected to play tonight at Denver. Eric Bledsoe said he would be fine to play despite taking two hard fouls to bruise his butt.

This a winnable game, we have to contain Lawson and box out their good rebounders and all will be OK.

He complains about officiating every single game not just the games against Denver.

I'm in town tonight, northern Scottsdale to be exact. I don't mind driving a distance, but would anyone have a suggestion for where to go out and watch the game? I'd appreciate it.

I do think there are teams (and players) that draw more favorable calls than we do from the refs but I'd agree, a difference in calls with the Nuggets will likely come from style of play. I mean, it's not like we're playing in Utah where the fans have long since mastered the art of referee manipulation.

"He's a game-time decision," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said after the shootaround. "He said it was hard to push off."

Thomas is questionable...we will see.

I think everyone here is experienced enough to know nothing good can come of Tucker dribbling the ball. I wish he'd realise the same.

Sorry no one there gave you an answer. I no longer live there but if you want to go out tonight I'd just stay somewhere in north scottsdale. I know there are a few sports bars there but I can't think of what they are now (haven't made it back in a while so they could have changed). Hopefully you found a place.

Yeah, we have all these point guards that don't handle the ball enough and then you still see Green and Tucker trying to take it up the court sometimes. Pretty frustrating.

Suns looking like they'd rather not try tonight... outside of Tucker, anyway.

We don't know when to foul, where to foul and how to foul.

Looking like we're Philly out there. The nuggets commentators pointed out that we are the best FT shooting team but it doesn't mean anything because our opponents shoot twice as many as us.
