We're going to win it in all likelihood, but man has this been a frustrating tournament to watch. The missed bunnies and open 3's have been maddening. And this hasn't been Wisconsin's normal cerebral play. Numerous fouls on 3's, and early forced drives and contested shots. They've been drinking the Bahamian salt water I guess. They're stumbling, but fought to stay up.

Damn I love this team. Going to be a really special year, as if that wasn't obvious before. They weren't their sharpest by far but still win the tournament.

Only 8 free throw attempts, 2 of them on foul and chase. That's a little concerning.

I'm thrilled to get out of there with the title because for the most part I don't think we played very well.

Watched the game on and off and I'm amazed at how good Jackson's box score looked because every time I had the game on he was a complete abortion.

Really liking the teams depth this year. Hayes, Koenig and Dukan have all improved from last year. Without them they lose yesterday. Play could be better and they'll need to be to beat Duke next week but so far so good.

jackson has a game that reminds me of the Eastwood film - The good, the bad, and the ugly. He has those WHAT? moments, but then he'll hit a clutch game winning basket. Overall he had a pretty good game.

There were times last year that i thought Dukan should have played more and he looks even better this year. For a 6'9-6'10 white guy he can move his feet well enough to defend multiple positions, he tries hard on the glass, and his shooting mechanics from the perimeter are nearly flawless. He's going to cause plenty of matchup problems for defenses when he's on the court with Kaminski and Hayes. Props to Dukan for sticking things out as he first redshirted and then barely ever played as a freshman and sophomore, to now being a key cog on a top 3 teams in the country.

Good way to put it, on the Badger Scout board it seems they'll defend him to no end because he's the point guard and the team is winning, but to me he's the biggest question mark that will either allow the team to reach its potential or hinder it.

They didn't play very well against Georgetown. I thought they played a decent game against OK. Kaminski was not a factor in the Georgetown game really and hardly played in the first half against OK. The fact they beat two teams that should be ranked in that 20-25 area without much help from Frank tells you something about the depth. They have so many guys that can give you offense - I think they actually are better off when Koenig replaces Jackson. When Dukan subs for anyone he usually adds a spark. It's almost a perfect mix of players.

I have not seen Kentucky play yet, but the way everyone is boasting about their defense - it could be that there's Kentucky and Wisconsin and then the next tier- Duke, ARZ, Louisville, etc.

what a deep team even if kaminsky or dekker dont play well they have guys that just step right in and play well.. was listening to jay bilas vs georgetown talking about their being 30 nba scout their.. said obviously dekker and kaminsky were pros but the name scouts have been talking about is nigel hayes and bilas said he would defintely be a nba pro wen its all said and done.. i love that kids game if he was 6'9 or 6'10 hes a top 10 if not top 5 pick easily but at 6'7 he will be very undersized .. but i remember as a kid watching ruben pattterson on the bucks and he was what 6'5?? how many future nba pros does this team have.. i think 4 with kaminsky, dekker, hayes, and koening in the future..

I actually think Dukan could play in the NBA. 6'10" guy that jacks threes? There's always a spot in the league for a guy that like to get some burn.

Won't be shocked at all if Hayes is the best pro of all of them. Outside of being a bit undersized at PF, he really doesn't have any weaknesses. Has a pro body, good looking shot, great post moves, and good overall court awareness. He will be a first round pick for sure at some point.

Bilas was talking about Gasser getting drafted. I don't see it quite frankly.

Yeah, that comment was ridiculous. I think there are four pros on the team: Kaminsky, Dekker, Hayes, Koenig. Maybe Dukan gets a look as a bench shooter but I think he will have a hard time getting drafted as a fifth year senior with minimal overall production.
