The team to watch here is the Marlins because the Mets have done a lot of deals with Florida, the Marlins love Carlos Gomez, and without a stadium deal in place, Florida must decide soon what to do with the escalating prices on Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera. The general feeling is the Marlins will wait until the offseason. But if they don

Cabrera is not getting moved. He is a future HOF and if it were the case, he'd play LF.

miggy started off as LF i believe.

i'd loveeeeeeeeeee to do a humber, pelfrey and gomez for miggy and willis.

our starting 5 would be set (and leaves the opp. to still sign big Z). and we'll have the best bat in baseball in years to come in miggy. this will also let milledge play RF next season. and fernando can eventually take delgado's place (he def shuld start learning 1b)

DO IT OMAR.

Wow if we can get Cabrera added to this team, just wow. Reyes, Wright and Cabrera might be one of the better trio's that I have seen in a long time.

While I would love to have Dontrelle, he just eats the innings up and is a gamer. Cabrera over Willis anyday, but let be honest here. Miguel is a long shot, Willis is realistic.

it's more of wishful thinking.

miggy is in love with his arm so i doubt he'd want to move to 1b

You guys are seriously overrating Gomez. The Marlins would need more prospects without a doubt if theyre giving up Miggy.

The Marlins are known for trading proven talent for prospects. When the time Cabrera comes to be a free agent there is not a chance the Marlins would be able to afford him. So they will trade him for a prospect or two. Keep in mind its not about the talent for the Marlins, its who they can afford to keep.

and plus. gomez fits a need in CF.

i think a gomez, no name prospect for willis wouldn't be bad for either team. it just depends on how long willis as until his contract.

FL are (Please Use More Appropriate Word) if they don't trade for elijah dukes. he can be gotten for basically nothing now.

If Miggy could be had, I would trade any prospect for him except Nando. Miggy in LF and 3rd in the order would force Beltran to bat 2nd.
