Post#1 » by Jake0890 » Sun Nov 30, 2014 1:10 am

Sorry guys, absolutely no time for a game thread and no computer access so this will have to do for tonight.

Lets take down the Cavs.

Down 3 at half-time against Lebron? I will take it, especially after that start, ugh.

Not liking this quarter. I wanna see more Cope, might have a better job guarding Love.

We fought hard but we didn't have enough to stop their run in the 3rd. I didn't expect a win in Cleveland without Roy and they didn't blow us out so I'm ok with the result.

We won the rebounding battle which is always nice to see.

If that hole doesn't get dug early on then we would have been right in throughout the whole game. I got the feeling the team didn't know what to expect from Cleveland as they haven't really played a team with that many "stars" at this point.

I loved the fight the team showed though. Hill didn't back down from Lebron, Allen still scrapped with Love/Thompson down low, and Ian played very well (the burn he's getting lately and his work has really helped and could pay dividends next year).

Sloan and Stuckey were basically no shows. They were trapping Sloan a lot and he didn't deal too well with it. Also none of his shots were ones I'd consider good. Not sure why Stuckey wasn't aggressive though, maybe his injury acting up a bit, though he didn't get the ball in the right spots most of the game and we had little to no fast breaks.

Oh yeah, and the refs sucked throughout the game. Bad calls on both sides all night and late whistles aplenty. Not a big deal since the Cavs didn't really benefit from it and it wasn't to our detriment, but it made the game itself worse.

It was weird, wasn't even superstar calls really or anything like that. Almost every foul call was after the shot was made or missed with no real rhyme or reason for it. Just odd.
