I'm ready to get this going, but the lack of sign ups doesn't bode well. I wonder if people are burned out.

This may need to start soon because my Hornets are making me almost disinterested in basketball

The Hornets were supposed to be a top 5 team in the conference and we're 4-14. This is more agitating than watching the 7-win lolcats because we all knew we were going to suck! :banghead:

At least you've got Andre Drummond aka Shaq Jr. We've got Al Jefferson, Lance Stephenson, and Kemba Walker, whose backups have been outplaying them on a regular basis.

tbh I didn't think your boys had been playing that badly, i'm kind of shocked :o

While we may have AD, we also have Josh Smith... And even Drummond hasn't looked too Drummond-esque this year

Warning: rant coming

It's a combination of an absolutely brutal schedule, lots of injuries, and simply everyone being terrible at the same time.

Kemba and Lance haven't been able to shoot at all (both are around 36% and are missing perfectly normal shots, along with some bad shot selection), Big Al looks out of shape and completely incapable of moving on defense to the point where it negates the 20+ ppg he scores (it wasn't this bad last season), Marvin and Gerald have been negatives, Maxiell will likely never wear another NBA jersey after his stint here, and Hairston has been all over the place.

We've played 10 WC games, eight of which were WC playoff teams which we likely don't stand a chance anyway (two vs. GS, two vs. POR, LAC, Memphis, Dallas, Pelicans, LAL, and Phoenix), and we've blown a large number of gigantic leads along the way.

We've been hammered by injuries, but none has been more pronounced than MKG. I think he's the MVP of this team. Our current 9-game skid coincides with his injury, and teams simply rain threes on us. We're definitely better than 4-14 if we hold on to a few games (22-point lead over Portland, 20+ point lead over Orlando, to name a couple) and most of our games have been blown by the starters after the bench unit led by Zeller and Biz has outperformed them. In the end, 4-14 is 4-14, and the rest of the season is an uphill battle.

Our best player this year has been Brandon Jennings. It hasn't even been close. That's how bad it is over here.

I recommend someone individually recruiting certain guys that post decent trade's in the T&T forum. New blood would be nice but I'm not the "recruiting type" ala D-Rose ;-)
BAF: Phoenix Suns
PG: Ja Morant / Ajay Mitchell / Ryan Nembhard
SG: Coby White / Quentin Grimes / Kon Knueppel
SF: Keegan Murray / Caleb Martin / Andre Jackson Jr
PF: Matas Buzelis / Tristan da Silva
C: Evan Mobley / Quinten Post / Luka Garza

Yeah, good idea "D-Rose" now step aside... but be careful not hurt yourself and let "Lebron" work his mojo. 8-)
